Sinopsis

Finally old enough to leave Shamballa and seek a wife, Mage Andirick Lorac is assigned as the Royal Mage of Puji. But when King Orlan refuses to let either of his sons take the throne, Andirick learns he was sent to Puji with an ulterior motive. 
A pair of dragons have taken an interest in overthrowing the dictatorial King of Puji and replacing him with a benevolent ruler. Swordplay, magic, love, and politics collide in deciding the next ruler of Puji. 
Meanwhile, Zanima, who is now the Lesser Purple Dragon, continues to meddle in Puji’s affairs while seeking the spells and ingredients she needs to make a sword equal in power to the famous black sword of the Dragon King. With so many goals in mind, any action towards one goal affects all the others. Can she guide the chaos to bring about her victory over Targash? Or will she lead Targash right to her cave?
