Oliver's Twist is brilliantly performed by punk legend, poet and Netflix star John Otway. A tongue in cheek twist on the classic Dickens novel, Oliver Twist. Otway portrays Fagan as a vigilante saint like character who sets out to save an evil Oliver from a life of overt criminality.

Gifting Oliver a magic ring, Fagan’s subject gets the opportunity of helping society with its magic powers, or using and abusing it for his own purposes. Temptations are rife for the mischievous menacing Oliver.

Set in Victorian times, Oliver and Fagan get to meet some fascinating people along the way. The listener is transported back in time for a series of exciting and fun adventures that has both an educational element, whilst providing fun for all the family.

The Monkey King visited the Eastern Ocean Dragon King's palace and took away the Divine Treasure to serve as his own weapon. The Dragon King sued him to Heaven. The Jade Emperor approved Gold Star's idea to pacify the Monkey King by giving him an empty title. The Monkey King felt insulted and returned to his tribe with great anger, proclaiming himself the Great Sage Equal to Heaven. Gold Star again suggested pacification, so the Jade Emperor granted the monkey his desired title and appointed him Supervisor of the Orchard of Immortal Peaches. When the monkey discovered he had not been invited to the Grand Peach Banquet hosted by Queen Mother, he was so outraged that he wrecked the banquet. The Jade Emperor sent a heavenly army to capture the monkey. After a long and hard battle, the monkey was finally captured by Erlang and sent to the Taoist Master's furnace to be burned. However, the monkey was still alive and even gained refined powers. He kicked his way out of the furnace, wrecked the Jade Emperor's throne room, and escaped.

To fall in love is already a gift. But to fall in love in a place like Minidoka, a place built to make people feel like they weren’t human—that was miraculous. After the bombing of Pearl Harbor, Tama is sent to live in a War Relocation Center in the desert. All Japanese Americans from the West Coast—elderly people, children, babies—now live in prison camps like Minidoka. To be who she is has become a crime, it seems, and Tama doesn’t know when or if she will ever leave. Trying not to think of the life she once had, she works in the camp’s tiny library, taking solace in pages bursting with color and light, love and fairness. And she isn’t the only one. George waits each morning by the door, his arms piled with books checked out the day before. As their friendship grows, Tama wonders: Can anyone possibly read so much? Is she the reason George comes to the library every day? Maggie Tokuda-Hall’s elegant and true love story about her grandparents for listeners of all ages sheds light on a shameful chapter of American history.

Gardening with children is more than just a hobby—it’s an adventure in discovery, learning, and connection. When kids dig their hands into the soil, they’re not only planting seeds, they’re nurturing curiosity, responsibility, and a love for the natural world. Whether you have a spacious backyard, a community garden plot, or just a few pots on a balcony, gardening offers endless opportunities to engage children in meaningful, hands-on experiences.
In our increasingly digital world, time spent outdoors has never been more valuable. Gardening draws children away from screens and invites them to slow down, observe, and interact with the rhythms of nature. They get to see firsthand how a tiny seed can grow into a leafy green, a colorful flower, or a juicy tomato. These small miracles become moments of wonder, sparking questions and encouraging exploration.
But the benefits of gardening go beyond the science of how things grow. It also supports important life skills—like patience, teamwork, and problem-solving. Children learn how to plan, care for living things, adapt to changes, and celebrate the rewards of their efforts. It fosters a sense of responsibility and accomplishment, as they take ownership of their plants and see the results of consistent care. Along the way, there are plenty of opportunities for creativity and play, whether they’re painting pots, building bug hotels, or designing their own fairy garden.
