This collection of fifty original New Year nursery rhymes was specifically created for children aged six to eight, drawing inspiration from the beloved tradition of Christmas carols and rhymes but focusing entirely on the themes of transition, celebration, and new beginnings associated with the New Year. The primary purpose of these rhymes is to provide engaging, age-appropriate literary content that introduces young readers to the customs, emotions, and excitement surrounding the end of one year and the start of the next.
Each rhyme, crafted to be approximately 1,000 characters long, explores a unique facet of the holiday. Themes range from the thrilling anticipation of the **New Year's Countdown** and the spectacle of **Fireworks in the Sky** to the quieter, more reflective moments of **Making Resolutions** and watching **The Last Sunset of the Year**. The collection also covers cultural and symbolic elements, such as the meaning of **Auld Lang Syne**, the folklore of **Father Time and Baby New Year**, and various **Good Luck Traditions**.
By blending whimsical storytelling with rhythmic language, the rhymes aim to foster literacy, encourage family discussion about traditions, and cultivate a sense of hope and optimism for the future. The accompanying book cover images, designed to be visually appealing and thematically rich, further enhance the collection's potential as a valuable resource for parents, educators, and young readers looking to celebrate the New Year with joy and imagination. The entire project serves as a comprehensive, festive literary toolkit for welcoming the brand new year.

Export Commodity by Irving Cox Jr. - Henig was sent to obtain a soil sample of the planet. It was a routine assignment, but not necessarily the only method for discovering an—Export Commodity
Three of the hairless bipeds stood in front of the frame building talking. Concealed by the brush beyond the road, Henig studied them carefully. These were the dominant species on this primitive world, unspeakably grotesque things. The pale, white skinned animals had a culture of sorts—their language, their buildings, their wheeled vehicles testified to that—but an animal society was very different from the rational civilization Henig knew.
He was naked and he carried no weapons. That was the logic of the computers. But Henig was a Fleet Lieutenant, not one of the scientists. He put his faith in arms rather than computer logic. Stripped of his weapons, he lost a fundamental part of himself. The computers had said he would be safe, but too many things could go wrong. Too many factors might have been left out of the observer data submitted to the machines.
Henig inched cautiously toward the three white things standing near the wooden structure. The telecommunicator, which the surgeons had planted in his skull, caught the sound of alien voices and made a conceptual translation in terms Henig understood. He could have used the same device to communicate directly with the alien minds, but the Scientist-General had warned him against that.
"The hairless bipeds," he told Henig, "are only an animal species. They have no civilization. Make no mistake about that, Lieutenant."
"And if we decide we need their planet, sir—"
"We'll set up reservations for them, so they can't interfere with our operation."
"They won't have weapons to match ours," Henig suggested hopefully.
"If you go in uniform, Lieutenant, even these witless things would recognize you as an alien.

Thirty Degrees Cattywonkus by James Bell - It doesn't take a heap of leaving to make any house a nightmare. One vanishing door will do nastily.
It was a tremendous house. And they were newlyweds. And were still a mite flighty. And for a while that accounted for the whole thing.
At the moment, it seemed to Ernie Lane that in a house which even the real estate agent said had "either" eleven or twelve rooms, it was quite conceivable that he and Melinee had overlooked that extra room.
After all, they had only been living at 1312 Cedar Lane for four days and had hardly had time to make a complete survey of the place.
Now it was quite different. For Ernie Lane had stopped walking hurriedly past that extra door, had stopped giving it only casual curiosity, had even stopped wondering afterward.
This night he had come home a bit tired, gone directly to greet his loving wife, and then decided to put a stop to the gnawing question.
While Melinee fried the chicken, Ernie walked carefully and wordlessly to the dim hallway. He went past the staircase, past the telephone, to the darkest spot between the living room and the study. He stood for a strange moment—there was no extra door.
He felt the refinished wall, his fingertips searching for hidden panels. There was none.
    "Supper's ready," Melinee called. "Ernie?"
But it had been there last night, the night before, the night before that, and the very first night the real estate agent brought them over. In fact, he recalled, that was the reason the agent had been uncertain about the number of rooms. And why had he passed it off as a joke, simply turning from the extra door without opening it?

In this book a path is presented from a problematic position to a solution that lasts eternally. One might be afflicted with negative desires, lust or bad habits, but the Bhagavad-Gītā has a solution to become problem-free, gentle and a truly wise human being. It has always worked, so Kṛṣṇa, the perfect person, states in the Bhagavad-Gītā (4.10):
“Being freed from attachment, fear and anger, being fully absorbed in Me and taking refuge in Me, many, many persons in the past became purified by knowledge of Me – and thus they all attained transcendental love for Me”.
This book is designed to build a bridge between mundane and spiritual. A perfect Gentleman was Śrīla Prabhupāda, who expertly shared the ancient wisdom with world. We take refuge in him and learn to understand what we have forgotten, how to be a true gentleman.
“Gentleman means he must be sober, learned, and thoughtful. That is gentleman. But nowadays, gentleman is different—simply by dress.”
