Synopsis

Brandon lost the love of his life, Roxbury, years ago. Their love was platonic, of course, no matter their secret dreams, because having a huge crush on another Alpha? No way. Alpha males did not get crushes or fall madly in love with other Alpha males. 
 
 
 
It simply wasn't done. 
 
 
 
Roxbury is forced by his father to join the navy, and his ship is attacked by pirates—when the cannon smoke clears, and Roxbury is missing and presumed lost at sea—Brandon wants to die too. But life goes on as it always does, and years later, he becomes engaged by his family to a suitable omega. First, however, he has one last sea voyage in service to the king. The ship is attacked by pirates, and Brandon encounters the last person he ever thought to see again. But Roxbury has changed, and he holds an old grudge against Brandon. He takes him captive to hold him for ransom but finds that the burning attraction he felt for Brandon is far from cooled off. As their powerful love struggles to survive, can they learn to trust each other again and stand together against the forces trying to tear them apart?
