What doesn’t kill you is only waiting for its second chance. Nothing can stop the rise of the undead in the second zombie apocalypse thriller.

Welcome back. You are about to be taken back to the first day of the outbreak. There are over a million people in the city of Waterloo; Dan Williamson is just one of them. Meet Dustin Barnes, not the typical protagonist, he’s a post-apocalyptic cockroach, the sort of guy that will do anything in order to survive, and he’s on a collision course heading north to New Castle.

Those who have survived, the sinners and saints alike, knew the dead had an appetite before, now they are starving. With the scarcity of the delicacy they crave, human flesh, they are becoming maddened by the hunger, they are growing faster and more desperate in their attempts to feed.

In a world where the dead refuse to stay buried, expect to see a few familiar faces.

In a single day, everything can change . . . The first in a stunning trilogy of horror, survival, and transformation.

There are days when the wind is so biting one can barely curse the cold through chattering teeth. There are days when the sun bakes down and complaints can only roll slowly off weary tongues. There are days filled with superstition; days marked in history; days of remembered significance.

This was not one of those days. There was nothing remarkable about it. Even the weather was too average to elicit comment. It was any day. It was every day. And, in many ways, it was the last day.

When Mike Allard, a high school history teacher in rural Tennessee, arrived at work, there were some murmurs of illness; students and teachers absent with signs of flu. Even for a newly employed teacher like Mike, a half empty class was a welcome gift. By that night, though, the murmurs grew more panicked. Every television station broadcast wall-to-wall coverage of the sudden outbreak. Before midnight, the word “pandemic” had become insufficient. The Tilian Virus had swept the globe with incomprehensible speed. The government urged patience—explaining that while the symptoms were severe, recovery seemed likely.

But then the victims changed. Mothers and fathers, sons and daughters lost what made them human and reverted back to the predatory instincts at the core of existence…In this chilling novel spanning seven years, Mike Allard will lead a small band of people to an unknown end, as he struggles with the futility of survival in a world of withered decay.

When the last vestiges of civilization crumble, who will prevail?
Over two years have passed since Bree and Nate disappeared—and much has happened in the meantime. After leading a nomadic lifestyle for several months, they have started to rebuild a semblance of normalcy, moving between several established camps as the seasons change. Life is simple—hunting their own food, building weapons, even growing produce. Far away from the security of the settlements, they take care to stay unnoticed, and, if the need arises, cull the odd horde of shamblers.
Until one night, their idyllic off-the-grid lifestyle comes to a sudden end when they are overwhelmed and captured by forces unknown. Will they manage to escape? And at what cost?

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen welcome to our show," said a voice that came from the stage of a small theatre.
"He's throwing his voice or using a microphone," muttered a bearded man with an Italian accent.
On the stage appeared the owner of the voice.
"He is using a trap door," the Italian muttered.
"I am Blake Fire," said the clean shaven Australian magician.
Another magician appeared on stage in flames he looked like a cross between a vampire and a magician.
"Trap door and pyrotechnics," said the Italian.
"And I am Max Starfire," said the vampire.
"My assistant!" said the first magician. The second
sneered and snapped "I'm your partner, Granddad!"
Max was the husband of Blake's grandaughter he was older than he looked.
"Max!" snapped back Blake as he beckoned Max to come over to him.
Blake removed his own top hat in a flourish. Max pulled a rabbit out of the hat then opened the rabbit's mouth. Blake's eyes widened in horror and he screamed "No!
Max pulled a hat out of the rabbit's mouth it killed the rabbit. Blake who was covered in rabbit blood screamed "Not again! Bring down the curtains. The show's over!
"How did they do that?" the Italian asked..
