  James Butler Hickok, better known as "Wild Bill" Hickok was a folk hero of the American Old West known for being a lawman, gunfighter, gambler, and showman. He earned a great deal of notoriety in life and in death. His life has been depicted numerous times in literature, radio, television and film. His death is also quite notable – he was shot and killed while playing five-card stud. He was holding two pairs, black aces, and black eights, which has become known as "Dead Man's Hand." In 1951, Kellogg's cereals brought Wild Bill Hickok to radio and television starring Guy Madison as U.S. Marshal Wild Bill Hickok and Andy Devine as his gravel-voiced comedy sidekick Jingles P. Jones. The series used a familiar western scenario enjoyed by producers of Hopalong Cassidy and The Cisco Kid in which a strong, fearless hero is accompanied by a comic sidekick. During the 1950s, several episodes of the television shows were spliced together and released as 16 feature films by Monogram Pictures. Enjoy 12 of Wild Bill's greatest radio adventures!

  This poem resembles urban sprawl. This poem resembles the freedom to charge a fee. The fee occurs in the gaps. It is an event. It is not without precedent. It is a moment in which you pay money. It is a tribute to freedom of choice.
   
  Reality is a parking lot in Qatar. Reality is an airstrip in Malawi.
   
  Meanwhile the expressway encloses, the expressway round and around the perimeters like wagon trains circling the bonfire, all of them, guns pointed, Busby Berkeley in the night sky.
   
  Echoing the pastoral and elegiac modes of the Romantic poets, whose reverence for nature never prevented them from addressing it with all the ideas and sensibilities their times allowed, Sina Queyras's stunning collection explores the infrastructures and means of modern mobility. Addressing the human project not so much as something imposed on nature but as an increasingly disturbing activity within it, Expressway exposes the paradox of modern mobility: the more roads and connections we build, the more separate we feel. 'Cleanse the doors of perception,' Blake urged, and with that in mind, Queyras has written a bravely lyrical critique of our ethical and ecological imprint, a legacy easily blamed on corporations and commerce, but one we've allowed, through our tacit acquiescence, to overwhelm us.   Two artists from opposite worlds meet in an unlikely place - the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. It's 2017, and an ageing fishing boat is sinking fast, its occupants quickly abandoning ship. However, one young woman is panicking - she's six months pregnant, and can't swim.
  Sebastian, an English photojournalist-turned-paparazzo, is sent to cover the Syrian refugee crisis for a well-known magazine. At the same time, an unnamed Syrian street artist is forced to flee the Assad regime after a dramatic change in her life.
  Two worlds collide in the most heartbreaking and visceral of ways in Henry Naylor's play Borders.
  Borders was premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2017.

  The Tempest is a play by English playwright William Shakespeare, probably written in 1610-1611, and thought to be one of the last plays that Shakespeare wrote alone. After the first scene, which takes place on a ship at sea during a tempest, the rest of the story is set on a remote island, where the sorcerer Prospero, a complex and contradictory character, lives with his daughter Miranda, and his two servants: Caliban, a savage monster figure, and Ariel, an airy spirit. The play contains music and songs that evoke the spirit of enchantment on the island. It explores many themes, including magic, betrayal, revenge, and family. In Act IV, a wedding masque serves as a play-within-a-play, and contributes spectacle, allegory, and elevated language.Although The Tempest is listed in the First Folio as the first of Shakespeare's comedies, it deals with both tragic and comic themes, and modern criticism has created a category of romance for this and others of Shakespeare's late plays. The Tempest has been put to varied interpretations, from those that see it as a fable of art and creation, with Prospero representing Shakespeare, and Prospero's renunciation of magic signaling Shakespeare's farewell to the stage, to interpretations that consider it an allegory of Europeans colonizing foreign lands.

  Don Juan (Spanish), Don Giovanni (Italian) is a legendary, fictional libertine.  Although the various iterations of the Don Juan myth show some variation, the basic story remains the same. Don Juan is portrayed as a wealthy, seductive libertine who devotes his life to seducing women, taking great pride in his ability to seduce women of all ages and stations in life. Don Giovanni, an opera composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with libretto by Lorenzo da Ponte, is arguably the best-known version. First performed in Prague in 1787, it inspired works by E. T. A.
