Sinopse

In the early centuries of the Christian era, a number of texts called the Apocalypse of Ezra were in circulation among Jews, Christians, Gnostics, and related religious groups. The original is believed to have been written in Judahite or Aramaic, and is commonly known as the Jewish Apocalypse of Ezra, as Ezra is believed to have been an ancient Judahite. This translation is referred to the Judahite Apocalypse of Ezra, as the book has nothing to do with modern Judaism. This version of the Apocalypse was translated into Greek sometime before 200 AD, and circulated widely within the early Christian churches. In the book, it is claimed that the prophet Ezra wrote 240 books, and its popularity seems to have inspired a number of Christian-era Apocalypses of Ezra, presumably beginning with the ‘Latin’ Apocalypse of Ezra which claimed to be the ‘second book of the prophet Ezra.’ This prophet Ezra is not the scribe Ezra from the books of Ezra, but a prophet named Shealtiel who lived a couple of centuries earlier. In the apocalypse, he is called Erza by the angel Uriel, which translates a ‘helper’ or ‘assistant.’
In 1592, Pope Clement VIII’s creation of a Catholic Bible added a version of the Apocalypse of Ezra into the Catholic Bible under the name 4th Esdras. Unfortunately, the Latin translation of the Apocalypse of Ezra that Clement added to the Catholic Vulgate included the shorter Latin Apocalypse of Ezra, resulting in the Catholic and Protestant Bibles having longer, and self-contradicting versions of the apocalypse in comparison to Orthodox Bibles.
The identification of the author as ‘Shealtiel, who is also called Ezra,’ is found in most translations of the apocalypse, other than the longer Catholic version, where it is both redundant and conflicting, as the author is identified at the beginning of the longer text. The introduction of the Catholic version, is the introduction of the shorter Latin Apocalypse of Ezra, which identifies the author as Ezra the Scribe, and provides his genealogy. Ezra the Scribe, was a Levite, and son his genealogy has nothing to do with the line of David, a Judahite king. This translation is a translation of the Latin version's text that originated in the Judahite Apocalypse of Ezra, along with the restoration of short sections of text that was cut from the Catholic version, but remains in the Armenian, Georgian, or Ethiopian translations.

Grasp God’s Word in sixty-six easy verses
The Bible can seem like a big, intimidating book—mysterious, archaic, and often hard to understand. Written over a span of fifteen hundred years, and completed nearly two millennia ago, God’s Word sometimes feels like a mishmash of stories and literary styles. How can twenty-first-century readers—like you—make sense of it all?
Author Stan Guthrie’s answer: begin by zooming in on one key verse for each of the Bible’s sixty-six books. Seeking to bring clarity and simplicity to the study of God’s Word, Guthrie has written a concise, easy-to-digest collection of wisdom anchored by one verse for each book, from Genesis to Revelation—a verse that summarizes or lays the foundation for that book, placing it in context with the rest of the Scriptures.
Read this book, and you’ll feel as if you’ve read the entire Bible—but you’ll also yearn to continue exploring its depths and mining its riches on your own.

Clearing and cleansing continues in the physical reality as more unique, human individuals step more fully into the roles chosen as souls. The ethereal realms are ready and waiting to assist those ready to transform earthy life. Within this earth game there are an infinite number of veils and levels of consciousness. Upon reaching each one, as in a video game, we move on to the next level, and it is often with the assistance of what appears as unseen energies that we progress. Each dimension holds clues to our awakening, but no single dimension holds all clues or answers. As evidenced in the "Book of One :-) Series", included in the "Lightworker's Log Book Series", one need only to tap in to reach a better understanding of unseen forces.
Book of One :-) Volume 1 takes the listener on a journey that increases the understanding of Christ Consciousness (awareness of the soul’s oneness with All That Is, God, etc.). It reaches people in different states of wakefulness and resonates strongly with Lightworkers, Wayshowers, and those on the path of Oneness ,for it holds inspiring, channeled messages for humanity that flowed through SAM from 2006 to March 2012. SAM also shares various extraordinary experiences that occurred during the early years of her awakening.
Book of One :-) Volume 1 also holds fleeting glimpses into a Lightworker’s increasing awareness of Oneness and her beginning experiences with ascension. Life-affirming messages offer many opportunities to tap into an increasing state of wakefulness. This is an excellent bedside companion for spirits in human form. You’ll relate to this book deeply if you’ve felt a connection to the Oneness of life and All That Is, are beginning to awaken to the truth of BEing, or are aware that you are here to spread the Light of One. You’ll enjoy this book regardless of your state of awareness for the messages within it serve as reminders from Home, relate current events, and hint at what’s ahead for humanity.

Sometimes the world knocks us flat on our butt.
We feel stretched further than we ever thought physically, emotionally, or spiritually possible. And though we are torn up inside, we feel like we need to keep our chin up and put a good face on things. So we pretend that everything is fine, even though it's not.
Even in the hardest times, strength from God rises from deep in our soul to keep us going. In this honest, inspirational, and humorous book, Katie Schnack goes deep into the hard stuff of life with no sugar coating or toxic positivity to find sustenance she could not imagine. Faced with a child's medical challenges in the midst of a global pandemic, having strength to get up in the morning and actually enjoy the day was so unlikely that she knew it had to come from God. Schnack's plucky authenticity shows us how when life is complicated, self-compassion and humor can bring healing and life.
Everything Is (Not) Fine looks at the hard realities of life, but also gently reminds us of the good. Even in dark times, we can get glimpses of light.

The Lankavatara Sutra, dating from the early years of the Common Era, sometime before 443, is one of the most important Mahayana Buddhist texts, not least because of its influence on later Tibetan, Chinese and Japanese Buddhism. One of its possible early translators in the 8th century was Gunabhadra who is sometimes regarded as the first father of Zen in China.
The Sutra takes the form of a dialogue between the Buddha in his cosmic form (as opposed to the historical figure of the Pali Canon) and the Bodhisattva or ‘Great Being’, Mahamati. The Bodhisattva, as represented by Mahamati, is the enlightened presence in the world, foregoing the bliss of Nirvana and enlightenment for the sake of oneself alone, in order to lead all beings to that state of liberation, of complete non-attachment, as taught by the Buddha.
The Sutra is especially concerned with the teaching of ‘Emptiness’, or ‘Sunyata’ in the Sanskrit, the letting go of all concepts and constructs, through which we ‘label’ the world around us, thus perpetuating that duality of self and other, which, according to the Buddha’s teaching, lies at the root of the world’s suffering. This is what is meant in the Sutra by the ‘discriminating consciousness’, through which we make logical sense of the world on a relative basis and which is distinguished from Transcendental Knowledge which allows us to enter into absolute reality. Much of the Sutra is concerned with the way this is brought about through the workings of our inner consciousness.
The Buddha, prompted by Mahamati’s questions, reiterates again and again that this world of ‘particulars’ as perceived by the non-enlightened, is devoid of an ego-substance and is illusory, like ‘Maya’ or a visionary flower in the air. It is because of our persistent need to hold onto some sense of a fixed self or ‘soul’ that we perpetuate the rounds of rebirth in this samsaric world, or world of suffering.
This recording includes the ‘Sagathakam’ (or “one with verses”), a later addition to the Sutra which contains many references to the Sutra itself and may well have been intended as an ‘aide-memoire’ for those trying to learn sections of the Sutra.
