Sinopsis

Twin slaves. A divided city. A goddess’s wrath. The first novel from the author of the Tears of Artamon trilogy, “an innovative fantasist” (Asimov’s).

The once-wondrous land of Myn-Dhiel has suffered under the rule of the House of Memizhon. The decadent king and queen are slowly going insane, and the kingdom seems likely to sink under the weight of its decay.

Twins Lai and Laili have spent their quiet lives as initiates of the Goddess on the peaceful island of Ael Lahi. But when they are captured and sold as slaves in the city, Lai must learn to fight for his life in the Arena while Laili is forced into service as the Arkhan’s concubine.

The twins ultimately find their place in the intrigues and rivalries of the corrupt court. But discontent is simmering among the city’s oppressed people. When a mysterious cloud of moon moths brings a plague, revolution threatens to bring down the House of Memizhon. Lai and Laili may hold the key to saving the city—unless they too are engulfed in the conflagration.

Praise for the Tears of Artamon Trilogy

“Unusual . . . Exotic . . . Well worth the read!” —Katherine Kurtz, New York Times–bestselling author

“A splendid tale . . . Ash is destined to be one of the bright luminaries of fantasy.” —Dennis L. McKiernan, national bestselling author

“Rousing. . . . with its vivid 18th-century European flavor and fallen angels who evoke Paradise Lost. Lovers of big, complex fantasy sagas (think Robert Jordan or George R.R. Martin) will be well pleased.”—Publishers Weekly (starred review)

The sins of those before us often lay the building blocks for the hurdles that appear in front of us.
Syrinada learns this lesson first hand as she faces the Naiad’s Walk. This series of tests will determine if she is worthy of getting the powers that at a time, a siren was born with. Thanks to the actions of the women before her, this trial is put in place as a punishment by the witch covens. Should she fail, she will never gain full access to the magic that lay dormant within.
Syrinada needs her power if she is going to stay alive but she doesn’t want to leave Malachi, her brooding protector, behind. He has just suffered a great loss, and she feels guilty. If she goes, she leaves Malachi to mourn alone, if she doesn’t, they may both lose a lot more when the covens find them. What Syrinada doesn’t realize is that by crossing the portal into the Naiad’s Walk, she may ultimately crush the very person she is trying to save.
Will Syrinada be able to prove herself and gain her powers? Will Malachi survive without her?
Siren’s Test is the second installment of the Siren Series, a Paranormal Fantasy series written by USA Today Best-Selling Author, Jessica Cage.

There is a lot that our U.S. biology and history books haven't told us. COMING FULL CIRCLE (CFC): How Americans Finally Got Things Right! is an eco-novel series (in 3 books) that sets the record straight. On a geologic timescale, we are accelerating toward our own oblivion at laser-focused warp speed. Right now—every day—the world is adding more layers of atmospheric pollution and species disintegration to the enveloping shroud that may eventually doom our own species (Homo sapiens) to extinction. These twin towers of environmental degradation are not something that might become challenges in the future. They are hugeproblems right now, and they're getting worse every day that we sit by and pretend that nothing bad is really happening. But here is the good news. The climate crisis and biodiversity loss do not have to remain unsolved. In fact—as detailed in CFC—both of these world-wide conundrums can be well on their way to full resolution in less than ten years. We can use the perpetual, inextinguishable energy of Earth—the sun's glorious rays, the wind's constant breezes, and the water's endless waves—to work for us all. And, in the process, we'll leave the polluting fossil fuels right where they belong—buried in the ground, never to see the light of day.Renewable energy here on Earth is abundant and omnipresent. Each time we go outside, we see and feel it everywhere. It's like an endless symphony written by a master composer and played by a world-class orchestra. The golden rays of streaming sunlight are the strings—always there, maintaining the basic rhythm of the interwoven movements. The wind provides the percussion—
