Summary

The Complete Works of Samuel Taylor Coleridge is a comprehensive compilation that showcases the evolution and breadth of Coleridge's literary genius, encompassing his poetry, prose, and philosophical writings. Renowned for his intricate language and profound exploration of human emotion, Coleridge employs both traditional and innovative forms, allowing readers to experience the Romantic era's depth and complexity. This collection not only highlights his most celebrated works, such as "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" and "Kubla Khan," but also contains lesser-known writings that shed light on his literary contributions and contextual relevance within the Romantic movement. Samuel Taylor Coleridge, one of the foremost figures of English Romanticism, was a poet, literary critic, and philosopher whose intellectual pursuits profoundly shaped his writing. His keen interest in the interplay between imagination and reality, fueled by his background in theology and philosophy, informs the themes prevalent throughout his work. Coleridge's collaborations with contemporaries like William Wordsworth and his struggles with personal challenges offer insight into the passion and depth of thought embedded in his writings, marking him as a complex and compelling literary figure. The Complete Works of Samuel Taylor Coleridge is essential for both students of literature and casual readers seeking to appreciate the rich tapestry of Romantic thought. This collection serves not only as a testament to Coleridge's artistry but also as a vital resource that illuminates the enduring themes of imagination, nature, and the human spirit, inviting readers to delve into the meditative depths of his mind.

Cold Swimming: Gently, rub me down. This Poem is about the art of cold swimming, and it is an art.You need eventually to be able to breath properly, and pace yourself in cold water, timing is all important, observing the seasons as to how much your 'own' body may take. We're all built differently, some of us have seal skin ;) others paper. But we can all enter cold water for our own purification and enjoyment and that feeling of being blessed. ***** Please leave your Review/feedback, many thanks.***** To see more Poems by the same Author please click the Link HERE: https://www.amazon.com/-/e/B00SG40RM8To contact the Author: Please add me Mike Miko on Facebook & then message me, thanks.https://www.facebook.com/mike.cco1I will then contact the Author your behalf.Instagram: wild_poetrys / wild.poetry.webs Please Like :)Tiktok: wild_poetrysFB: https://www.facebook.com/New.Poets.CornerWebsite: www.wild-poetry.comTwitter: miko_1_dollar ~ Tumblr : ccobes ~

    (“Love compelled me to write”)
As with most art, the words in this book were inspired by love.
Inspired by women I have loved and one in particular, who I may have loved before.
The woman who inspired many of these words is one of the very few truly spiritual people I’ve ever known. In spite of a life often tormented by cruelty and neglect, she retained a rare spirituality and compassion.
She enriched my life and for that I will never forget her.
These are some of the poems.
Written over the past couple of years (something creative came out of the COVID lockdown). Some describe experiences and feelings directly related to my relationships and circumstances. Some figments of my imagination.
This book is divided into three sections:
    Life, Love, and Loss
You can start reading from the beginning through to the end, or you can pick a section depending on your mood, or dip in and out at random.
