Sinopse

In 1798, the literary world witnessed a transformative shift with the publication of *Lyrical Ballads, With a Few Other Poems*. This anthology, a revolutionary endeavor at its time, weaves together the pastoral and the profound through an orchestrated symphony of emotions and imagery. The works within defy the rigid structures of Neoclassical poetry, embracing the beauty in simplicity and the vitality of the natural world. With pieces that encapsulate both the personal and the universal, the collection dares to ponder the human experience's essential truths, carving a pivotal moment that redefined Romanticism and the nature of poetry itself. Conceived from the collaborative genius of William Wordsworth and Samuel Taylor Coleridge, *Lyrical Ballads* is a testament to their shared vision. Wordsworth's focus on natural simplicity and Coleridge's imaginative depth converge to explore the beauty and complexity of everyday life. The collection's creation marks a significant engagement with the Romantic movement, emphasizing introspection, nature's divinity, and the cultivation of individuality. These pioneering voices, armed with the influences of contemporary cultural shifts, expand and enrich the thematic scope, creating a tapestry of poetic innovation. For readers and scholars alike, *Lyrical Ballads* offers a fertile ground where diverse poetic expressions coalesce. This anthology presents a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the rich dialogues between nature, humanity, and imagination. Delving into its pages allows one to appreciate the profound insights gained when disparate voices harmonize to challenge prevailing norms and inspire reflection. Thank you for purchasing my book, "Kevin Goes to Japan 3: Stories for Japanese Learners, JLPT N5 to N1." Some of them would realize that the range of the level is more comprehensive than before. Because this book is just before the last book, I wanted to focus on telling the story. Therefore, some Japanese sentences would be complicated for early learners. However, reading many books is good practice to understand the language, and you need to have the skill to guess unknown words by seeing the context. The word lists are more than Kevin 2, showing many vocabularies, and I keep writing topics from each chapter.
But 15 JLPT sample questions come with each chapter, a total of 180 questions for N5 to N3. I believe that advanced learners need to read books that understand more natural Japanese. Instead of sample questions, please try to use expressions you can find a list, "Miscellaneous (Idioms, expressions, proverbs, etc.)."
Tomoko teaches Kevin Kanji radical that Japanese language questions include in this book in this story. JLPT wouldn't ask radical, but if you know the basic rules, it helps to give extra knowledge about this language and its origins.
In the story, Kevin wants Yukio to fall in love with Tomoko, and you can see how his love strategy works. However, the day Kevin's working holiday visa expires is coming, and he and Yumiko's relationship will be swirled.
I hope you enjoy this story as a bilingual novel as well.

Syrian poet Nouri al-Jarrah brings to life a story that can never again be lost in time after a single line in Aramaic on a tombstone fired his imagination. This inspiring epic poem awakens two extraordinary lovers, Barates, a Syrian from Palmyra, and Regina, the Celtic slave he freed and married, from where they have lain at rest beside Hadrian's Wall for eighteen centuries, and tells their unique story.
Barates' elegy to his beloved wife, who died young at 30, is, however, not about mythologising history. With the poet himself an exile in Britain for 40 years from his birthplace of Damascus, the poem forges new connections with today, linking al-Jarrah's personal journey with that of his ancient forebear Barates, who resisted slavery with love.
Barates' Eastern song also questions whether the young Celtic fighters, the Tattooed Ones, were really barbarians, as they emerged from forest mists to defend their hills and rivers and their way of life from the Romans, and died or lay wounded at the twisting stone serpent that was Hadrian's Wall.

'He grew up to be a man whose sighs and slumps replaced sentences. Is that gonna be me?'
Days after his father's passing, Yusuf discovers a dusty mixtape that changes everything he knew about a man who barely spoke. Turns out, his dad spent the '90s rapping about pretty girls and Kilburn life, plotting dreams of superstardom with his best friend Omar. How did this passionate wordsmith become a silent statue?
Yusuf's mourning becomes a journey into the past, soundtracked by Omar's thumping beats and his father's bars, as he begins to uncover secrets that turn his world upside-down.
Witty, honest and deeply moving, Azan Ahmed's play Statues is a lyrical love letter to the original code-switchers, exploring the impact of loss, and what you can gain from it. It premiered at the Bush Theatre, London, in 2024, with a cast featuring the playwright himself.
