  This e-book is part of the Ulysses' Shelter project started in 2017 with the objective to build a network of exchange literary residencies aimed at young writers and literary translators. The second stage of Ulysses' Shelter is once again being co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union, and coordinated by Croatian publishing house and literary agency Sandorf, with four partners, Literature Across Frontiers and Wales Literature Exchange in Wales, Krokodil in Serbia, Thraka in Greece and Slovene Writers' Association in Slovenia. 
  
  This e-book represents a cross-section of external and internal events from each young literary creator in the months between August 2020 and the end of 2020. It consists of five chapters, each offering a unique insight into the artists' lives, thinking and fears in the last quarter of 2020, that is, in the year Covid-19 was born.
  
  At the end of the book, there is a short reflection by the young literary creators on the guest performances carried out in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Then there is a short presentation of all the literary correspondents.

But his most significant performance at a theater did not take place on the stage.   	In 1880, Garfield ran as a Republican for president, and one of his supporters was a man named Charles Guiteau, who wrote and circulated a speech called “Garfield vs. Hancock” that aimed to rally support for the Republican candidate. Though few knew it, Guiteau’s family had already deemed him insane and attempted to keep him committed in an asylum, only to have him manage an escape from confinement. Garfield went on to narrowly edge Winfield Scott Hancock in the election, and Guiteau, harboring delusions of grandeur, believed he had helped tip the scales in Garfield’s favor.  
  President James Garfield had been assassinated just 20 years earlier, but McKinley didn’t worry about presidential security or his own safety, and that was the case in Buffalo. McKinley’s insistence on greeting the public and shaking hands allowed Czolgosz to walk up to him on September 6, 1901 at a public reception in the Temple of Music on the expo grounds and shoot him point blank, with one bullet grazing the president and another lodging in his abdomen.  
  In many ways, John Fitzgerald Kennedy and his young family were the perfect embodiment of the ‘60s. The decade began with a sense of idealism, personified by the attractive Kennedy, his beautiful and fashionable wife Jackie, and his young children. Months into his presidency, Kennedy exhorted the country to reach for the stars, calling upon the nation to send a man to the Moon and back by the end of the decade. But the idealism and optimism of the decade was quickly shattered, starting with Kennedy’s assassination in 1963.

  Alan Mathison Turing was a mathematician, computer system researcher, scholar, cryptanalyst, thinker, and theoretical biologist from the U.K. With the Turing device, which can be considered a design of a general-purpose computer system, Turing had a substantial influence on the development of theoretical computer technology, offering a formalization of the ideas of algorithm and calculation. Turing is considered the creator of theoretical computer technology and AI. 
  Turing was born in Maida Vale, London, and raised in the south of England. He earned a mathematics degree from King's College, Cambridge. He released a presentation suggesting that some simple math-- no questions can never ever be replied by computer system while a fellow at Cambridge, built a Turing device, and went on to reason that the Turing device's stopping issue is undecidable. 
  He got his PhD from Princeton University's Department of Mathematics in 1938. Turing worked for the Federal government Code and Cypher School (GC&CS) at Bletchley Park, Britain's codebreaking center where Ultra intelligence was developed, throughout WWII. He led Hut 8, the area in charge of German navy cryptanalysis, for a time. Here, he developed some methods for breaking German ciphers quicker, including but not limited to adjustments to the pre-war Polish bombe gadget, an electromechanical system that could recognize Enigma device settings. 
  Turing contributed to analyzing obstructed coded signals that permitted the Allies to beat the Axis powers in some crucial fights, including but not limited to the Battle of the Atlantic.
