Due to his obsession with hedgehogs, Mr Mac was lead walked in the garden first thing in the morning before the sun was quite up and as soon as it was dusk when hedgehogs are likely to be around searching for food. Thus, you can imagine how mad I was when I arrived home from work on Friday, drove toward my gate and saw this half flat, brown, spiky lump in the middle of the road. "Arrrgggghhhh!" I shouted at it, "you stupid, stupid hedgehog!" I parked my car in the drive and stomped back up the road. I was still shaking my head and ranting, "How could you be so stupid? After my efforts to keep you safe all summer and you go and run out in front of a car in broad daylight." I reached the little spiky brown lump and stared at it as if I was hoping for an answer to my questions about its stupidity. Then a big smile spread across my face and I looked round sheepishly hoping that no one had witnessed or heard my outburst. The little spiky brown lump was left on the road by a horse.

"I cried because I did not have an office with a door, until I met a man who had no cubicle." - Dilbert
"After your boss has taken away your door, your walls, and your storage areas, there aren't many options left for the next revolution in office design. One of the following things is likely to go next: the floor; the ceiling; your happiness.
I think the floor will stay, but only because your company would have to dig a huge hole all the way to the other side of the earth to get rid of it. As you can imagine, a huge hole through the earth would represent a serious threat to office productivity."

Travel along as Mike Vendetti aka miketheauctioneer narrates an outstanding true account of a trip made in 1909 by Zane Grey and a plainsman, Buffalo Jones, through the Grand Canyon to lasso a cougar. That’s right lasso. Throw a rope around. That’s equivalent to catching one by the tail.As I narrated this book, I found fact to be as exciting as fiction. This part of the west was relatively wild and untamed at this time. Wolves, wild horses, buffalo and other wildlife were quite prevalent, and the Indians were not that friendly. This adventure would never make it to “Animal Planet”, or as a National Geographic special, because there is quite a lot of what we would consider cruelty to animals, but this is a true story, and life as it was at the turn of the last century. Parts of this story will offend the sensibilities of some, but it is a glimpse into a world that no longer exists. I was definitely drawn into this story, as I hope the listener will be. (Summary by Mike Vendetti)
