Sinopsis

As a spiritual poet and non-fiction writer, my work is deeply rooted in exploring the intricate connections between the cosmos, consciousness, and the human experience. My aim is to allow my readers to enjoy the many ultrasounds of love, black culture and chasing energy that gives you life. I hope my readers connect to the many emotions we all face in different timelines of our existence. I strive for mental foreplay so others think deeply about their past, present and future in regards to how spirituality plays a role on relationships. I have explored myself and the taboo's of both the seen and unseen realms. As an empath, healer and light worker most of my work has been done freely. I have truly danced in both dark and light spaces as a free spirit and mystic who loves fiercely...may my poetry inspire emotional inner standing. With pure energy,Sable

“In the vast expanse of the Algerian desert, an adventurer embarks on a solitary journey to explore ancient temples hidden among the dunes. As he delves into the ruins, he uncovers engravings on the walls that hint at a civilization far more advanced than ours, one that predates history as we know it. Suddenly, he’s whisked away by unseen forces and comes face-to-face with these ancient beings. In a twist of fate, he learns the secret behind their diminished stature, as they have evolved into beings of small form but immense intellect, a stark contrast to their grand legacy etched in stone.”

A shimmering exploration of love, longing, and the strange tenderness of modern life.
In her second collection, Ashley Obscura writes into the frequencies of a post-digital era—where desire, memory, embodiment, and signal constantly overlap. Ambient Technology traces the divide between what’s visible and what’s unspoken, the human heartbeat and the coded symbol. These poems reach toward the resilient interior of each of us, where intimacy endures and belonging reshapes itself.

A major new collection from one of our best loved, most celebrated, and most original poets.
Deeply personal but also expansive in its imaginative scope, Nouns & Verbs brings together thirty-five years of writing from Campbell McGrath, one of America’s most highly lauded poets. Offering a hint of where he’s headed while charting the territory already explored, McGrath gives us startlingly inventive new poems while surveying his previous work—lyric poems, prose poems, and a searing episodic personal epic, “An Odyssey of Appetite,” exploring America’s limitless material and spiritual hungers.
Nothing is too large or small to remain untouched by McGrath’s voracious intellect and deep empathy—everything from Japanese eggplant to a can of Schaefer beer to the smokestacks of Chicago comes in for a close and perceptive look even as McGrath crosses borders and boundaries, investigating the enduring human experiences of love and loss.
A book that stands on its own solid foundation, Nouns & Verbs captures the voice and vision of a truly singular poet.

She is talking to a crow who may or may not be a trickster, and who brings a very important message: Sky Woman has returned, and she is ready to take down the patriarchy.  This is poetry, prose and dialogue about the rise and return of the matriarch. It’s a call to resistance, a manifesto to the female self. Cree poet and broadcaster Rosanna Deerchild is an important voice for our time. Her poems – angry, funny, sad – demand a new world for Indigenous women.

    INCREMENTS

    I live by increments, single

    breaths of an ambient air,

    marking off hours, days.

Apprenticed to grace, I tread statio
    in sequentiae, edging every step

    forward before venturing the next.

    Staggering up towards the stony

crests of the foothills, dusty, I am

almost undone with weariness, only half

believing that the view will widen.

In my falling upward into your home,

O Faithful One, stay with me,

your wind music playing the ear of

    my mind like an instrument.

"This is how life happens, one day at a time, in increments! And God is in each of them for us," Luci Shaw
