  Native Americans - Uncovering...

  This is a combo of several books, which are: 
  1 - The Cherokee are among the native tribes of the United States' Southeastern Woodlands. They resided in communities along river valleys in what's now southwestern North Carolina, southeastern Tennessee, the limits of western South Carolina, northern Georgia, and northeastern Alabama just before the 18th century. Cherokee belongs to the Iroquoian language family. One oral legend tells of the people moving south in age-old times from the Great Lakes area, where other Iroquoian-speaking tribes were based, according to James Mooney, an early American ethnographer. 
  2 - The Comanche are a Native American people from the contemporary United States' Great Plains. Most of contemporary northwestern Texas, and also surrounding parts in eastern New Mexico, southeastern Colorado, southwestern Kansas, western Oklahoma, and northern Chihuahua, were previously part of their historical domain. 
  The Comanche people are acknowledged by the federal government as the Comanche Country, which is headquartered in Lawton, Oklahoma. 
  The Comanche language belongs to the Uto-Aztecan family of Numic languages. It started as a Shoshoni dialect, but has since developed into its own language. 
  3 - The Sioux, also called the Oceti Sakowin are a North American people of Native American tribe and First Countries tribes. The contemporary Sioux are split into 2 significant groups based upon language: Dakota and Lakota; they're called together as the Ohéthi akówi ("7 Council Fires"). The term "Sioux" is an exonym stemmed from a French transliteration of the Ojibwe term "Nadouessioux," and can apply to any ethnic group or language dialect within the Great Sioux Country.

  History placed Johann Gottlieb Fichte (1762-1814) between two giants of German philosophy – Immanuel Kant (1724-1804) and Georg Hegel (1770-1831) – so it was not surprising that his light may have dimmed as the 19th century developed. It didn’t help that he also was regarded as one of the proponents of German nationalism, a legacy that spilled over into the darker times of the 20th century.  
  However, his singular character and his role in developing, (following Kant), transcendental idealism has resulted in a re-evaluation in recent years. His views on ethics, a practical approach towards the matter of free will, and the value he placed on culture, the intellect and the self, informed his output. 
  The three works in this collection, Volume 1, offer a steady insight into Fichte’s thought and personality. Many of his key works emerged in the form of lectures rather than books, and as such are eminently accessible: Fichte was certainly a popular speaker. When at the University of Jena (1794-1799) he drew large audiences for the five lectures which comprise The Vocation of the Scholar (1794). The main principles of the Enlightenment are examined here, in terms of culture, education, morality. As he writes in his Preface: ‘That the Ideal cannot be manifested in the Actual world, we know as well as they do, perhaps better. All we maintain is, that the Actual must be judged by the Ideal, and modified in accordance with it by those who feel themselves capable of such a task.’ 
  In 1799, he was dismissed from his post at Jena following accusations of atheism, and the last two works in this collection appeared while he was at the University of Berlin. The Nature of the Scholar and its Manifestations dates from 1806 and comprises 10 lectures which develop ideas initially presented in The Vocation of the Scholar. The final work here, The Vocation of Man, appeared in book form rather than as a series of lectures and is regarded as one of his most important. In it, Fichte sets out to examine ‘the true purpose of man’.  
  It is divided into three sections, Doubt, Knowledge, Faith. He addresses issues of free will and cause and effect, natural existence and perceived reality; and, finally, the ‘guiding’ matter of faith and God.

Phillips has been following the Kennedy assassination since it happened.  This book begins at the end of World War II and concludes when the Warren Commission was formed.  Revealed along the way is the truth about the Bay of Pigs, the Cuban Missile Crisis, the ambush in Dealey Plaza, and JFK's fraudulent autopsy.  During his two years and eight months in office, President Kennedy prevented the US government from instigating a war that could have involved nuclear weapons in Vietnam, Laos, Berlin, the Soviet Union, and Cuba.  He was leading the nation away from armed conflict, ending the Cold War, and setting the stage for a lasting peace with all nations.  IN doing so, however, JFK was threatening long-established kopek structures within the government.  So on November 22, 1963, in broad daylight, they shot him in the  back and blew his brains out.  It was a pre-meditated, deliberate, willful act of murder with malice aforethought.  And they got away with it.  No one who participated in the crime was ever brought to justice.  Treason From Within answers the questions:  Who killed President Kennedy?  Why was he killed?  How was he killed?
