Sinopse

Charlie Keep loves his job at EyeZeal designing eyewear. Although his task is sometimes boring, it has one great perk -- Zeb Carlow, the owner's drop dead gorgeous son, whom Charlie has a crush on. Thor-like Zeb is everything Charlie wants as a husband: he's smart, financially secure, and positive.

There's one huge problem Charlie has concerning Zeb, though. The guy is untouchable. Zeb is the boss's son, and out of Charlie's league. Plus, Charlie can't possibly cross a line between business and pleasure. Never.

But soon he realizes Zeb isn't as untouchable as he thinks. When Zeb invites Charlie to join him on a road trip to visit an EyeZeal client in Ohio, things between them begin to look up.

As much music history as biography, Awop Bop Aloo Mop celebrates "Little" Richard Wayne Penniman, who burst onto the American scene in 1955 with his mega-hit "Tutti Frutti." Almost by himself, Little Richard wrote the anti-rules and poured the concrete for the foundation of a new musical art form he created. Alan Freed would call it "Rock & Roll." Dubbing himself "The Architect of Rock & Roll," Little Richard was known for his wild, flamboyant performances and outrageous costumes. He was one of the first artists to make the androgynous look popular, and his influence could be experienced in the music and performances of Mick Jagger, The Beatles, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, James Brown, and David Bowie. But Little Richard also had demons he struggled with throughout his career—his complicated relationship with his sexual orientation, and its effect on his faith.

He helped solidify The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Billy Preston, and The Beatles as major acts who used his onstage antics for their success. A terrible car crash sidelined Little Richard for months, causing him to miss his own induction into the first Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 for his contribution to music. But he later appeared in movies, television shows, and tours, showing everyone why he remains the "Originator, the Innovator, and the Architect of Rock & Roll."

Helping animals for a living? Check.

Having the best friends in the world? Check.

Falling in love with one of those friends? Um . . . Check.

Stevie has everything she wants, except the one thing that matters most: her friend and roommate, Angie. But the shadows of Angie's past have a long reach, and even though everyone in the small town of Seal Cove knows Stevie and Angie have been in love for years, none of that matters if Angie herself isn't willing to take the risk.

Risk, as far as Angie is concerned, equals loss. She once risked everything by telling the truth—and that ended badly. Very badly. Friendship is the only thing that has ever worked out for her. She can't afford to lose Stevie—even at the expense of her own happiness.

However, when their other roommates move out of the house, each finds it harder and harder to resist their feelings. Angie must decide if the scars of her past will dictate her future, and Stevie will need to accept that sometimes, people need to save themselves.
