Summary

Cliff Allen gains some bad news when his buddy-crush and next-door-neighbor, Seb Rockfield, decides to move away. Cliff not only loses his evening drinking pal, deep conversationalist, and smoking-bro, but he also realizes he's out his best friend and ... a special man he has fallen head over heels in love with.

It's true. Cliff has unequivocally become heart-swollen for the adorable, younger, and sexy grease monkey, Seb. There's nothing Cliff can do to stop the move. As the pathetic cliché goes: It is what it is.

Cliff attempts to pick his life up and ... stalks Seb. Why not? What does he have to lose? Then Seb is mugged on an evening run and resorts to Cliff for help. Cliff gains the opportunity to nurse Seb back to health ... until Seb turns up missing.

Where is Seb Rockfield? Cliff begins to panic and searches high and low for his pal. He becomes uncontrollable, determined to find his love. Numerous questions drive his hunt: Is Seb safe? Is he lost? Is he playing a game and hiding from Cliff? Is he alive?

As Cliff searches, his feelings for Seb only increase and he realizes how love can push his drive forward, through danger and devastation, closer to a forever bond.

From USA Today Bestselling Author, Marley Valentine comes a brand new emotional, second chance, gay romance.
Two halves of a whole, Arlo Bishop and I were both unwanted kids brought together by the foster system. Dealing with the aftermath of neglect and abandonment, we grew up side by side and found solace in one another.
    We wanted.
    We needed.
    We loved.
    Desperately.
But somewhere along the way, Arlo wanted and needed and loved drugs more. So, I did the only thing I could and broke my own heart to save his.
Now, four years later, I’m back in L.A. and face-to-face with my past. Not only does the pain and hurt of our mistakes linger between us, but so do our feelings.
I didn’t plan on a second chance, fear of history repeating itself making it hard to forgive and even harder to forget. But with only one touch, one kiss, I was taken back to where it all started.
Two halves of a whole, Arlo Bishop and I were made for for each other. But we were no longer the unwanted foster kids.
    We were grown men.
And I wanted nothing more than him.

A poignant, hilarious, and inspiring memoir from the first Latino and gay Presidential Inaugural Poet, which explores his coming-of-age as the child of Cuban immigrants and his attempts to understand his place in America while grappling with his burgeoning artistic and sexual identities.

Richard Blanco's childhood and adolescence were experienced between two imaginary worlds: his parents' nostalgic world of 1950s Cuba and his imagined America, the country he saw on reruns of The Brady Bunch and Leave it to Beaver—an "exotic" life he yearned for as much as he yearned to see "la patria."

A prismatic and lyrical narrative rich with the colors, sounds, smells, and textures of Miami, Richard Blanco's personal narrative is a resonant account of how he discovered his authentic self and ultimately, a deeper understanding of what it means to be American. His is a singular yet universal story that beautifully illuminates the experience of "becoming"; how we are shaped by experiences, memories, and our complex stories: the humor, love, yearning, and tenderness that define a life.

Madison Masters is everything I want to be.

He's confident, good-looking, and beyond popular. Wherever he appears, he's the center of attention. It's his natural charisma that pulls every gaze to him. Mine especially. I have been in love with Madison since the moment I met him. The only trouble is he has no clue that I exist. And even if he knew me, it would never work.

I'm the father of a little troublemaker, the happiest accident of my life, and Madison is not family material. I know his secret. I know where his popularity and money come from. I know what he does in hotel rooms when cameras are on and when the show begins.

We can never be together. We are worlds apart.

But when Madison Masters urgently needs a nice, anonymous boyfriend for an evening, there's no better choice than invisible old me. And as the night of work turns into the most magical date of my life, I soon forget we're only pretending.

If only my stupid heart wouldn't beat so fast. If only Madison weren't so convincing. If only we didn't follow this fantasy all the way to his hotel room. If only he didn't ruin everyone else for me in a single night of unrestrained passion . . .

    Contains mature themes.
