The hottest stories around, all right here!

~~~~~ Excerpt ~~~~~
Taylor and Amy, his 18-year old stepsister, are in the laundry room together, doing laundry. He's just finished starting up another load of washing and now he glances her way, as he has many times already today.
"You're looking cute today," he says to her. Amy turns her head and gives him a smile.
"Thanks," she says. "You're not looking so bad yourself."
Amy picks up some of her more delicate laundry and hangs it up. She watches her stepbrother as she does this…makes sure he can get a good look at what his little sister wears when she's feeling sexy, or even just underneath her clothing if she's up for it.
Taylor keeps thinking about sex. But not just sex…dirty, naughty sex. Bits and pieces of what he likes have been dipping their heads in and out. Taboo thoughts. Sex with people he knows and trusts, people he would never consider having sex with before. He's been thinking about being naughty…and he knows just who he wants to be naughty with.
Amy turns around and Taylor happens to look her way. He has to stifle the bit of laughter that escapes him.
"Amy," he says to his stepsister. "You have a dryer sheet stuck to you."
"Huh?" Amy says, and she turns around, trying to find it.
"Here, I'll get it," Taylor says, and he comes up, peeling the sheet off of her. Amy sees it and grins up at him. Taylor smiles right back down at her.
"Hey Taylor," Amy says to her stepbrother. "I want to tell you something."
"What's that, kiddo?" Taylor says.
Amy takes a breath and lets it out.
"I want to have a baby," she says, and Taylor blinks down at his stepsister. "I've been thinking about it for a long time and I want to have a baby."
"Wow," Taylor says. "That's quite a decision."
"I know," Amy says, looking up at him. "And now all I need is for someone to be the father."
Amy leans up and presses her lips to her stepbrother's. She feels Taylor freeze for a moment before kissing her back. It feels kind of strange to be kissing him, but he certainly seems to like it. They keep going.
    This collection of 63 writings by Mark Twain was published in 1875. Among other sketches, it contains "The Jumping Frog" in the original English, followed by a French translation (read here by Caroline Mittler) which Twain re-translated into English, showing how the French translation of his work was "badly flawed." In many of these sketches, Twain shows his talent for outrageous and hilarious inventiveness, often in reaction to current events. (Summary by John Greenman)
    THE LAND
    A world without hunger. Without pain. Without struggle. Machines fulfilled every need, and life stretched toward immortality. Humanity stood at its peak—free from the grasp of nature, basking in its own perfection.
    But perfection has a cost. The Land was not built on compassion, but on exclusion.
    When the balance broke, the earth itself rebelled. Monuments crumbled. The machines went silent. And humanity turned creation against itself.
    This is the story of that world—its rise, downfall, and the quiet defiance of those who refused to abandon compassion. A tale of loss and bravery, destruction and renewal, and the desperate fight to keep the last remnant of humanity’s soul.
