Sinopsis

'You're not even a fully formed person yet. Your face is still changing and your bones are still growing but already there's a detailed map of your personality out there and companies you've never heard of are getting rich off it.'
Welcome to Octopus Inc., the internet giant that allows users to exchange personal data for currency. But not everyone is prepared to sacrifice their privacy for an easier life.
A teenager subverts the system in an attempt to save her mother. A visionary tech exec takes shortcuts to get ahead. And a cybercriminal makes a choice between two kinds of freedom.
Darknet navigates through the world of data commodification and the uncharted deep web, shining a light on the things we choose to share online and the places we can hide. It was commissioned and produced by Potential Difference and premiered at Southwark Playhouse, London, in 2016.

A powerful play about the growing culture of human exploitation in the UK, delving below the surface to reveal a personal account of life as a migrant worker.
In Ukraine, Victor had a business, a family and a home, but things have changed and he's fled to the UK in search of a better life. Now he's doing everything from gutting fish to picking carrots.
But Victor's a strong-minded man. He's not staying at the bottom of the economic food chain, he's going to build a business of his own and play the gang masters at their own game.
Steve Waters' play Fast Labour was first performed at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds in 2008 before transferring to the Hampstead Theatre in London.

But tonight I am super-charged, alive, looking into the eyes of / men . . .
In this intimate and vital debut, Richard Scott looks into the places not everyone sees or chooses to see. Against the backdrop of London's Soho, he creates an uncompromising portrait of love and shame, questioning our sense of the permissible and the perverse. Scott takes us back to our roots: childhood incidents, the violence our scars betray, forgotten forebears and histories. The hungers of sexual encounters are underscored by the risks that threaten when we give ourselves to or accept another. But the poems celebrate joy and tenderness, too, as in a sequence re-imagining the love poetry of Verlaine.
The collection crescendos to the title-poem, "Soho!," where a night stroll under the street lamps becomes a search for 'true lineage', a reclamation of stolen ancestors, hope for healing, and, above all, the finding of our truest selves.

A double bill of plays from the frontline of climate change - an epic portrait of an England of the near future, in the grip of unprecedented and catastrophic floods. InOn the Beach , Will Paxton, a glaciologist, returns from months in Antarctica to tell his parents that he will take up a role within Government. Thirty years ago, his father silenced his own radical thinking on climate change. Yet behind the reunion with his father lies thirty years of secrecy and bitterness. As the truth surfaces, the family is torn apart, and Will's parents must face the rising tide alone. In Resilience , the Tory Government that has just come to power wants radical answers to the imminent floods. Their newly appointed expert, Will Paxton, puts an extreme scenario on the table: England, from its coastline to its capital, faces catastrophe. Impressive in scale and chilling as a prediction of our immediate future, the two plays are complementary but can also stand alone. 'An urgent wake-up call... for sheer emotional intensity, has no rival on the London stage... Waters' massive achievement is to have made the most important issue of our times into engrossing theatre' -Guardian 'a triumph' -Evening Standard 'thrilling... masterly... a stunning theatrical knock-out' -Daily Telegraph 'the first and best British play on climate change' -Time Out
