A fabulously funny take on a classic story from two giants of children’s books!
Goldilocks and her little dog are off on an adventure, looking for that house again – the one with the chairs, the porridge and beds. The sound of the sea calls to them and before they know it, they have found quite a different sort of a house . . . there are bowls, and chairs and sort-of beds . . . plus some rather unexpected and hilarious inhabitants!
From Michael Rosen, the highly regarded author of We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, comes this wonderful new take on the famous nursery rhyme, brilliantly brought to life by David Melling, the creator of Hugless Douglas.
This humorous tale, penned by the award-winning and Sunday Times bestselling author, Michael Rosen, is a top pick for children's fiction. With its unique blend of animals, family themes, and short, engaging stories, it's no wonder this book is a bestseller.
For fans of Ezra Jack Keats (The Snowy Day), Bruce Degen (The Magic School Bus Lost in the Solar System), Bill Martin Jr (Kitty Cat, Kitty Cat, Are You Going to School?), Eric Carle (The Very Hungry Caterpillar), and Robert Mccloskey (Time of Wonder).

    THE ENCHANTED GROVE OF LUMINA
Book 3 of 6 The Veil of Eternis – Titania & Oberon restore Balance.
Following on from Book 2– The Shadow of Noctis this story is summarized as follows:
In the mystical grove of Lumina, guardian Lyra discovers the Veil—a barrier between life and death—is breaking, threatening both realms. Guided by Eldrin, an ancient tree spirit, and Kael, a former Veil guardian, Lyra learns the Veil’s fragility stems from a betrayer’s past attempt to control eternity. Venturing into the surreal realm of Eternis, Lyra confronts the betrayer’s spirit, who reveals a primordial entity of chaos exploiting the Veil’s weakness. With the help of fairy rulers Titania and Oberon, Lyra combines the Essences of Lumina and Eternis to restore the Veil, though it creates a new, fluid balance between life and death. The betrayer’s spirit finds peace, and Lyra, Finn, and Kael become guardians of the renewed grove. A starlit sapling grows, symbolizing hope and unity, as Titania and Oberon’s laughter echoes, celebrating the harmony of light and darkness.
This is the third of six audiobooks in the series, the others will become available in the very near future and I do hope you enjoy this third instalment, and it's only $3, all subsequent will remain at that price as I would not like price to be a barrier to your enjoyment.
I have worked very hard and meticulously to provide you with an enjoyable experience, the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 minutes sets the scene, so to speak, harp, violin, glockenspiel in a classical but uplifting form. The closing music ends the tale on a more restrained note and at about 2 minutes and the same musical instruments but more dreamy and ethereal effect.
The story itself runs to about 15 minutes is is narrated in my own voice.
I do hope you and your family, if applicable, enjoy this audiobook.

In the exciting new KIDS IN MRS. Z'S CLASS chapter-book series, every book is written by a different beloved author and stars a different kid in the class. With Book Four, written by National Book Award winner William Alexander, Memo Castillo is excited to attend his first-ever fan convention with his best friend, Theo Chang -- but when their transportation plans go awry, will they get to live out their dreams? Guillermo "Memo" Castillo and Theo Chang have been best friends since they were in kindergarten, and now they're partners in Sorcery too -- the mega-popular collectible card game, that is. Memo and Theo are excited to attend the upcoming science fiction & fantasy fan convention not far from Peppermint Falls. They plan to dress up in costumes, play in their first-ever Sorcery competition, defeat that arrogant fifth grader Josh Harkan in the tournament, and have an awesome day. But Memo's dad can't drive them to the convention. His mom can't either. Theo's family is out as well. That leaves just one option:  Memo's fearsome abuela. Lala doesn't speak English, though, and Memo doesn't speak Spanish. The two of them have never been able to really connect or communicate. But when Lala unexpectedly agrees to take Memo and Theo to the convention, it opens up a whole new set of adventures and challenges -- along with a kind of magic that Memo never expected.

This middle grade edition of the groundbreaking bestseller by Doug Tallamy will inspire kids to use their backyard to help save the planet.  In Nature's Best Hope (Young Readers' Edition), Tallamy empowers kids to use their own yards to help combat the negative effects of climate change. He does so by breaking down complex concepts into simple terms and real-world examples that kids can easily grasp. Black and white photographs help further clarify concepts. In addition to sharing the science, Tallamy encourages kids to take direct action. Some of these ideas include planting an oak tree at home. If that’s too large of a task, he suggests they can plant asters—a beautiful flower whose pollen bees use to feed their young.  By helping the next generation see that they have power and agency over our collective future, this empowering book will drive home the positive point that kids are truly nature’s best hope.
