Sinopse

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy has been an increasingly hot topic in the world of psychology in the past few years. More and more therapists and psychiatrists are adopting this type of speaking therapy due to its proven effectiveness in treating common mental disorders like anxiety and depression. Although we hear about this term a lot, what exactly is it? Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is based on the theory that a person's thoughts (cognition), emotion, and behavior are all constantly interacting with one another, therefore, if one of these three components are affected, the rest will be affected as well. Cognition is responsible for how we think and what we think, emotion is based on how we feel, and behavior is based on how we act. These three components all support the theory that if a person merely changes their thoughts or the way they think, it will impact our feelings, which will ultimately determine our behavior. In simple terms, this means that people who may be having negative or unrealistic thoughts that cause them distress could result in behavioral problems. When a person is suffering from psychological distress, the way they perceive certain situations can become contorted, this could cause negative behaviors.

This audiobook is narrated by an AI Voice. rauma is karma. Karma is trauma.

    This equation changes everything.

What you call character flaws are conditioned survival patterns.
The rage that erupts when coffee spills.
The freeze when your boss criticizes.
The helplessness you feel when you "cannot act otherwise."

These are not fate. These are not punishment. These are neural pathways, carved deep, firing in milliseconds.

Between impulse and action lies a window. Inside that span, freedom lives.

In this groundbreaking work, physician and philosopher Fritz H. Hemmerich reveals how trauma and karma are two languages for the same deep conditioning, and demonstrates why our deepest patterns can be interrupted using cutting-edge neuroscience and ancient wisdom. Discover the power of laminar breathing that calms your system in seconds, learn why trauma heals more effectively when we keep the benefit for others in view (Karma Burning), and understand how epigenetic changes can dissolve generations of conditioning. Through trainable practices such as vital-belt awareness and praeemption, you will learn to interrupt automatic patterns — anger, withdrawal, collapse, people-pleasing — and replace them with grounded presence. This isn't another self-help book. It's a roadmap to neurological liberation, with practical 2-minute exercises, moving case studies, and scientific precision that guides you from automatic reacting to conscious responding — from surviving to thriving.

"On Liberty" is a political philosophy book written by British philosopher John Stuart Mill, first published in 1859. The book is one of the most influential works in the history of liberalism, and argues for the importance of individual liberty and freedom of thought and expression.
Mill argues that individuals should be free to think, speak, and act as they wish, as long as their actions do not harm others. He believes that free speech and the exchange of ideas are essential for the progress of society, and that government interference in these matters is harmful and unnecessary.
In "On Liberty", Mill also discusses the limits of individual freedom, arguing that individuals should be prevented from harming others or infringing upon their rights. He also recognizes the importance of social cohesion and collective action in certain situations, but maintains that these should be voluntary and not imposed by the government.
Overall, "On Liberty" is a powerful defense of individual liberty and a critique of the tendency of governments to interfere in the lives of their citizens. The book continues to be widely read and studied, and remains an important work in the field of political philosophy.

    State looters Again and again

On September 15, 2017, in front of millions of television viewers, Emmanuel Macron, with François Bayrou, his Keeper of the Seals at the time, delivered his first lie: “It is now impossible to be elected when you have a B2 criminal record”. Nothing could be further from the truth: in 2025, it is still possible to stand for election and be elected after having been convicted by the courts, whereas there are 396 jobs requiring a clean criminal record. Ten years after the best-seller Pilleurs d'État (State Looters), which sold 120,000 copies, Philippe Pascot takes stock of the progress and setbacks in French politics, listing all the legal abuses still available to the political class: exorbitant salaries and associated expenses, tax exemptions, multiple pensions, fictitious employment, exceptional justice, show trials, bogus declarations of interest and activities, and so many other little arrangements between friends... For Philippe Pascot, the findings are indisputable: “Behind a declared desire for transparency and moralization in the political sphere, our elected representatives continue to nurture their own interests through laws that are less and less comprehensible, in order to escape criminal prosecution and drape themselves in a circumstantial innocence. ”
