Sinopse

Small, dirty faces peer through smudged windows in a dark, wooded part of town. There are no friends to come over to play, no twinkling song of the ice-cream man, and, sadly, no savior to hear shrieking cries of pain. A Dime a Dozen, by Robert Theodore is the true account of twelve brothers and sisters traumatized by years of physical and verbal abuse and neglect inflicted by those who were supposed to have loved them the most, their mother and father. Robert relive the horrors of his nightmarish childhood so that other child victims of abuse might not have to fear for their lives or wonder when their next meal might be. Inside you'll find a spirit of overcoming as the family appears on the Sally Jessy Raphael Show to confront their tormentors and spread a message of hope to those who are victims at the hands of loved ones. Join Robert on a frightening journey you'll never forget, and see how it feels to be counted as A Dime a Dozen.
