Sinopse

Go rogue. Go dark. Go hunting.

Shadowy cyberterror group, Viper Nine, hold the world to ransom. It’s a devastating global attack, with spy agencies and militaries all under their control.

Enter Sam Driver and her team. As operatives who don't officially exist, they're the only ones who can track the hackers down. But little do they suspect how sophisticated their targets are, or how terrifying their plans.

With society in chaos, Driver and her elite unit must walk a tightrope between hunting Viper Nine and flying under the radar of their own governments.

If they’re exposed, it’s treason.

But as the net closes on the mastermind behind the attacks, Driver questions the motives behind her team’s actions.

Because when it comes to protecting the world, can the ends ever justify the means? And could she herself be about to switch sides?

The second heart-pounding thriller in the Sam Driver series, Rebel Dark is perfect for fans of Lee Child and David Baldacci.

How do you handcuff an invisible hit man?
Meet Max Malone - Nashville’s #1 homicide detective, barbecue aficionado, and consummate jackass. In just one week in May, a series of suspicious deaths propels Max to unravel a time-critical mystery. Aided by his ukulele-wielding partner, Vince Wilson, and brilliant beat cop, Helen Hanover, they pursue a self-righteous vigilante playing judge, jury and cunning executioner of targets in high and low places.
Like so many in Nashville, Max is a frustrated songwriter. His vast collection of vinyl records and savant-like memory of hit songs provide a soundtrack to the race for answers through staggering revelations and the detective’s own crossroads.
In this extraordinary debut novel, award-winning songwriter and recording artist, Billy Sprague, exposes the layered M.O. of a human soul, and paints detective Max Malone, along with the reader, into the same desperate corner – where the only way out - means a risk-it-all leap of faith.

"The Stockbroker's Clerk" is one of the 56 short Sherlock Holmes stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. It is the fourth of the twelve collected in The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes in most British editions of the canon, and third of eleven in most American ones (owing to the omission of the "scandalous" "Adventure of the Cardboard Box"). The story was first published in Strand Magazine in March 1893 and featured seven illustrations by Sidney Paget.
A young clerk, Hall Pycroft, consults Holmes with his suspicions concerning a company that has offered him a very well-paid job. Holmes, Watson and Pycroft travel by train to Birmingham, where the job is initially to be based, and Pycroft explains that he was recently made redundant from a stockbroking house. He eventually secured a new post with another group of stockbrokers, Mawson and Williams, in Lombard Street in the City. Before taking up the job, he was approached by Arthur Pinner, who offered him a managership with a newly established hardware distribution company, to be based in France.
