Sinopse

Hunter Beaumont doesn't understand his grandmother's deathbed wish: "Destroy Beaumont House." He'd never even heard of the place. But after his grandmother passes and his first love betrays him, the family house in the Wisconsin woods looks like a tempting refuge. Going against his grandmother's wishes, Hunter flees to Beaumont House.
But will the house be the sanctuary he had hoped for? Soon after moving in, Hunter realizes he may not be alone. And who -- or what -- he shares the house may plunge him into a nightmare from which he may never escape.
Sparks fly when he meets his handsome neighbor, a caretaker for the estate next door, but is the man salvation ... or is he the source of Hunter's terror?

A quiet encounter… with something that refuses to be forgotten.
In A Ghost, Guy de Maupassant delivers a chilling and atmospheric tale that blurs the line between reality and the supernatural.
What begins as a simple request soon leads to an eerie and unforgettable experience—one that lingers long after the moment has passed. With Maupassant’s masterful storytelling, the tension builds subtly, drawing listeners into a world where the unknown feels disturbingly close.
Narrated with haunting clarity by Michael A Lyons, this classic short story captures the essence of psychological horror—where fear lies not in what is seen, but in what is felt.

Brought to you by Altrusian Grace Media and narrated by Matthew Schmitz. The Festival, written by H.P. Lovecraft in 1923 and first published in Weird Tales in 1925, is a dark and atmospheric tale steeped in ancient rituals, ancestral mysteries, and Lovecraft’s signature cosmic horror. Set in the fictional town of Kingsport, Massachusetts, the story exemplifies Lovecraft’s ability to weave together eerie folklore, haunting landscapes, and an overwhelming sense of dread. The narrative follows an unnamed protagonist who journeys to Kingsport to partake in an ancient Yuletide festival at the invitation of his ancestors. As he arrives, the town’s atmosphere is permeated with decay and antiquity, and the townsfolk exude an unsettling aura of secrecy. What begins as a solemn, almost sacred event quickly descends into horror as the protagonist witnesses unspeakable rites and is drawn into a confrontation with forces far beyond his comprehension. The Festival is one of Lovecraft’s earliest explorations of his growing mythos, blending elements of New England folklore with hints of the Necronomicon and his broader cosmic themes. The story reflects Lovecraft’s fascination with the thin veil between the mundane and the supernatural, where ancient and malevolent powers lurk just beneath the surface of human tradition.

They come in with the snow. They are the snow . . .

The blizzard begins pummeling the Midwest on Christmas Eve, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. Todd Curry doesn't need another reason to disappoint his son, so he joins three other people in renting the last four-wheel drive available and they set out into the blinding snow.

Only two hours into the treacherous trip west, Todd swerves to avoid a man in the middle of the highway. The stranger claims his daughter is lost somewhere out in the snow. Though his odd demeanor and ripped clothes make Todd and his group uneasy, they agree to take the man to the nearest town—if the now-damaged car can make it.

What awaits them at the next exit, however, is nothing they could have imagined. Around an empty town square, fires burn, cars are abandoned, storefronts are smashed. And there is no one to be seen—for now . . .

But soon the shadows lurking on the edges of their vision will step into the light, and Todd and his fellow travelers will find themselves facing a sharp-scythed evil shaped from the snow, tearing its way into human form—and taking the neighborhood by storm.
