    ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK
Binti: The Complete Trilogy by Nnedi Okorafor follows the journey of Binti, a young Himba woman who leaves Earth to attend Oomza Uni, a prestigious intergalactic university. Her voyage takes a dangerous turn when she encounters the Meduse, a jellyfish-like alien species at war with humanity. Binti, a skilled harmonizer with a gift for mathematics, becomes a key figure in navigating the conflict between these different cultures and species. Her unique ability to bridge divides forces her to confront questions of identity and belonging, and how to mediate between seemingly irreconcilable groups. Her search for understanding will take her on a journey to the stars and back to Earth and home.

God gave Us a Special Needs...

I wrote this book because I wanted the world to know the story of my special needs son Lloyd C. Darby lll. Affectionately known as DJ, which stands for Darby Junior. When people triumph over their circumstances as my wife and I have, there are usually hidden lessons others can benefit from contained within the events. However, if we don’t share our stories with the world, no one will ever hear about them. That’s why it is so important to share our successes, and failures, to let others know they are not alone. Rather, a part of a bigger picture that is so significant, their message alone has the power to set people free. Whether through books, video, television, or the radio, we must communicate our thoughts and promote ideas and principles that produce a better society for all people. Due to the painful memories, and recreating various parts of my true story, I needed to make this book simple to understand. It is my sincere effort that this information can be absorbed quickly and to the point.
This is the story of a child who was born against the odds, raised against the odds, and lives against the odds. Although he is my son, he is also my hero and role model. It is on his behalf that I write his story and for all the parents in the world with so-called “special needs” children. I have truly learned the powers who labeled these children “special needs” focus more on their inabilities rather than their abilities. More importantly, life is about victories, achievements, successes, opportunities, pride, honor, shortcomings, and never-ending loving hearts. When it comes to these qualities, special needs children possess them naturally.

A long-treasured but forgotten classic of folk healing, with an introduction and commentary by the author of Backwoods Witchcraft and Doctoring the Devil.Ossman & Steel’s Guide to Health or Household Instructor (its original title) is a collection of spells, remedies, and charms. The book draws from the old Pennsylvania Dutch and German powwow healing practices that in turn helped shape Appalachian folk healing, conjure, rootwork, and many folk healing traditions in America. Jake Richards, author of Backwoods Witchcraft and Doctoring the Devil, puts these remedies in context, with practical advice for modern-day “backwoods” healers interested to use them today. The first part contains spells and charms for healing wounds, styes, broken bones, maladies, and illnesses of all sorts. The second part includes other folk remedies using ingredients based on sympathetic reasoning, including sulfuric acid, gunpowder, or other substances for swelling, toothache, headache, and so on. These remedies are presented here for historic interest, to help better understand how folk medicine evolved in America. It is Jake Richard’s hope that reintroducing this work will reestablish its position as a useful household helper in the library of every witch or country healer.

In the 1930s, British medical doctor and homeopath Dr Edward Bach developed 38 flower remedies for promoting physical and emotional healing. Administered at extremely low concentrations, they are used worldwide, singly and in combination, and favoured for their gentle benefits. Scientific studies conducted and published by Dr Masaru Emoto since 1994 provide us with the scientific basis for the homeopathic method, enabling us to understand the real and practical foundation of treatment based on Bach Flower Remedies. Noah Goldhirsh shows how to use these to support young people overcome emotional, mental and physical difficulties and achieve healing and equilibrium.

Remember when you were a child - when your imagination knew no bounds, and your dreams and hopes stretched as far as you could see? Then life happened. But what if I told you that it’s possible to dream again?
This book invites you to let faith, not fear, define your choices. The life God calls us to is always beyond the limits of our current vision. When you trust what God can see—more than what you can see—you unlock the courage to dream again. True faith is found in stepping into the unknown, believing that God’s promises and purposes reach far beyond the horizon of your understanding.
Using the call of Abram as our canvas and drawing from my own journey as well as the real-life stories of others who have dared to trust God, this book will show how living by faith transforms empty spaces into places of hope, opens doors to new beginnings, and empowers you to claim the future God has prepared—even when you cannot yet see it. This is an invitation for anyone who longs to imagine again, to hope again, and to begin again—no matter where you are on your journey.
