Sinossi

Broccoli Bunch and her best buds embark on a quest to make more friends, have fun, and stand up against the forces of darkness.

The crew of the airship  Beaver Cleaver  are willing to follow Broccoli Bunch wherever she may lead them—a grand gesture of love and loyalty for someone who's only been their captain for a week. They admire her ability to resolve conflicts and forge friendships under even the most dire and dangerous of situations, as well as her courage on the battlefield against those who threaten all that is good in the world.

On their latest adventure, Broccoli and her friends Amaryllis, Awen, and the sylph paladin Bastion must cleanse a dungeon of its Evil Roots. Weeding out the sinsiter plant requires our heroes to wander labyrinthine corridors, fight off vicious monsters, and keep the self-proclaimed hero cervid Emmanuel Aldelain von Chadsbourne, who insisted on joining them, from wreaking havoc with every reckless move he makes.

But magically cleaning up a dungeon is child's play compared to what awaits Broccoli and her companions as they fight sky pirates over a penal colony island and rally opposing armies to battle a monstrous dragonkin amphiptere. It's all in a day's work!

JOB by Joseph Roth (HIOB, 1930) is a modern retelling of the Biblical story in a mixed form, fable and realism. It follows the fortunes of the Singer family from Western Russia at the end of the 19th century to New York in the early 20th. Stefan Zweig wrote: "JOB, more than a novel and a legend, is a pure, perfect poem of our time, and if I am not mistaken, the only one certain to outlast all that we, its contemporaries, have created and written." Heinrich Böll comments: "Joseph Roth's novels transpire in a world that is no longer: the world of Eastern Jewry, as Roth describes it in JOB, existed up to 1940: in that year the murderers swept it away. Thus Joseph Roth's work is not only poetry and great prose, it is also documentation of everyday Jewish life, such as is seldom to be found."

In the late 21st century, a neurotechnology called Bridge has changed the world. Bridging allows a person to program their own body and mind to achieve untold enhancement. There was one problem: It only works in children. Within a single generation, a new world order developed. Bridged Children grew smarter, faster, and stronger than the Adults and demanded equal rights. The Adults fought back. During the ensuing war, Adams, a prodigy among the Children, hid in seclusion on the Nordic coast. But when a family secret pulls him into the public eye, Adams must unravel the details of a sinister, mind-bending plot of global domination before it is too late.
Writing as “Zero,” author Bryan Johnson is an entrepreneur and explorer of new frontiers of human existence. Johnson has founded multiple companies: Blueprint (longevity), Kernel (neurotechnology), OS Fund (AI, computation, and biotechnology), and Braintree Venmo (payments). In We the People, Johnson explores what it means to program the body, the mind, and society, using the technologies of tomorrow.
