This audiobook is narrated by an AI Voice.
In her deeply personal memoir, Beneath the Radar, Naomi Jessop takes readers on an intimate journey through the labyrinth of her life—a path marked by judgment, influence, and the often painful process of carving out an identity distinct from the narratives imposed upon her.
Exploring struggles with depression, anxiety, and PTSD, this memoir sheds light on the dark corners of the mind and the quiet strength it takes to keep going. It also dives into the complexities of LGBTQ+ identity and self-acceptance in a world that often resists both.
At its heart, Beneath the Radar is a story about family—about longing for connection, navigating fractured relationships, and finding love and understanding amidst chaos.
With unflinching honesty and emotional depth, Naomi reveals what it truly means to grow, heal, and find yourself in a world eager to define you.
Beneath the Radar is more than a memoir—it’s a mirror for anyone who’s ever felt misunderstood, mislabelled, or misplaced. It’s an invitation to see the human story beneath the surface—and a testament to the strength it takes to rise, to speak, and to be seen.

The explosive saga continues in Oathsworn Brothers Divided (Chapters 21-40), where alliances shatter and legends are tempered in betrayal. Liú Bèi, the virtuous claimant to the throne, becomes a fugitive, hunted by former allies. The god of war, Guān Yǔ, faces an impossible choice: break his oath or die for his honor, leading to his legendary submission to the ambitious Cáo Cāo. And the tempestuous Zhāng Fēi, drowning in shame and rage, must forge a broken army from the wilderness.
Meanwhile, Cáo Cāo’s ruthless genius reaches its zenith. He crushes rivals, consolidates power, and sets his sights on total domination of the north. But a new star rises to challenge him: the young, brilliant strategist Zhūgě Liàng (Crouching Dragon), who emerges from his thatched cottage to weave miracles of tactics and deception. His master plan sets the stage for the most legendary naval battle in history.
Navigate the Epic with ease with essential faction overviews, character breakdowns, and chapter summaries that illuminate the complex web of shifting loyalties. Hanyu Pinyin pronunciation (like Zhūgě Liàng, Sūn Quán, Zhōu Yú) deepens your immersion into this foundational tale.
The chessboard of China is set. The pieces are in motion. All paths lead to the Yangtze River, where the flames of Red Cliffs await to consume the hopes of empires.

Brittains Ida or Venus and Anchises

While hunting, the boy Anchises stumbles upon Venus's forest retreat and is so kindly entertained by the goddess that he becomes the proud father of Aeneas, the hero of Vergil's Aeneid. The poem is an epyllion like Marlowe's "Hero and Leander" and Shakespeare's "Venus and Adonis," a short erotic poem with a mythological subject. The style is Spenserian, the stanzas rhyming ababbccc. When Brittain's Ida was published in 1628, the publisher ascribed it to Edmund Spenser. However, in 1926 Ethel Seaton discovered and published Fletcher's original manuscript, whose opening stanzas make clear that this is the work of Fletcher, who entitled it "Venus and Anchises." - Summary by T. A. Copeland

    My Unforgettable Journey - A...

I shouldn't be here. If my early formative years were any indication of my future and what awaited me, then I shouldn't be where I am today. I shouldn't be a public elected official. I shouldn't be married and raising a beautiful family I love, adore, and cherish in a country that gave me a second chance. I shouldn't have survived. But I did.
Against all odds, I am here. Alive, thriving, and living proof that where you start does not determine where you 'II finish. The path that began in war-torn Vietnam has taken me across oceans and obstacles, through hardship and heartbreak, toward purpose and possibility.
As I wrote this book, something miraculous happened. For 50 years, I believed my father, an American soldier in the Vietnam War, had died before I was born. I carried that absence like a shadow. But with faith, prayer, and the help of DNA tests and tireless research, I found him alive.
If you take anything from my story, let it be this: You hold the power to overcome your pain, your past, and your doubts. You were not born to stay broken. Within you is the resilience to rise, the courage to push forward, and the brilliance to shine even when no one else sees it yet.
People may underestimate you. Let them. Then go prove them wrong.
