Sinopsis

In Full Circle!, Vince isn't your typical hero—he's not even a fan of the word "hero." He's spent most of his life running from responsibility, avoiding answers, and hiding behind a barstool in a dingy corner of the universe. But when life finally catches up with him, it's not in some grand, dramatic way. No, it's in a quiet, offbeat fashion that only he would find bewildering.

This novel doesn’t just break the fourth wall—it smashes it with the kind of dry wit, existential humor, and cosmic absurdity that would make Kurt Vonnegut proud. Think Slaughterhouse-Five meets the modern world, where Vince's reaction to it is the only thing more unpredictable than the universe itself.

Vince’s story is a series of choices—some profound, most not—but each one shifts him from the kind of guy who’d rather throw back another drink than engage with his past to someone who might have to stop running and face whatever's next. Maybe that’s peace. Perhaps it’s chaos. Maybe it’s just the next drink.

With Vonnegut’s signature humor and wit, Full Circle! pulls you into a tale of existential dilemmas, absurd characters, and the struggle to find meaning in a universe that doesn’t care if you’re confused. It’s funny, dark, and has enough twists to leave even the most cynical reader laughing—and thinking.

Dive into a story where the past is never fully gone, the future remains a mystery, and the present is another choice. Because, in the end, that’s all we have. A series of choices, some absurd, some meaningful, and some that might bring us full circle.

In the style of Vonnegut, this is a book about surviving the cosmic joke, laughing at the punchline, and realizing you’re in on it after all. Just don’t expect a happy ending—this one’s far too complicated for that. Or is it?

The Odyssey is one of two major ancient Greek epic poems attributed to Homer. It is one of the oldest works of literature still widely read by modern audiences. Like the Iliad, the Odyssey is divided into 24 books. It follows the Greek hero Odysseus, king of Ithaca, and his journey home after the Trojan War. After the war, which lasted ten years, his journey from Troy to Ithaca, via Africa and southern Europe, lasted for ten additional years during which time he encountered many perils and all of his crewmates were killed. In his absence, Odysseus was assumed dead, and his wife Penelope and son Telemachus had to contend with a group of unruly suitors who were competing for Penelope's hand in marriage. The Odyssey was originally composed in Homeric Greek in around the 8th or 7th century BC and, by the mid-6th century BC, had become part of the Greek literary canon. In antiquity, Homer's authorship of the poem was not questioned, but contemporary scholarship predominantly assumes that the Iliad and the Odyssey were composed independently and that the stories formed as part of a long oral tradition. Given widespread illiteracy, the poem was performed by an aoidos or rhapsode and was more likely to be heard than read.

The planet was an enigma. Among the thousands of inhabitable planets that had been discovered and visited, Veridis alone seemed to defy the laws of planetary development and evolution. It was extremely young, barely 10 million years had passed since it was completely molten and yet now it was covered with life of all kinds; kinds that should have not had a chance to even begin to develop, much less reach their current stage. To investigate this anomaly among the stars, a team of experienced specialists was sent out to delve further into the mystery and if possible, solve it. Other than the obvious fields of planetology and geology, other specialties were included like paleontology and archaeology. The highly dangerous flora and fauna of the planet do not help at all. So, what is the cause? It lies deeper in the Green Planet than anyone thinks and is much more dangerous than they can ever imagine.

With shades of Scott Westerfeld’s Uglies and Ally Condie’s Matched, this dark, cinematic dystopian novel—the first in the thrilling Eye of the Beholder series—is set in a near future society in which ""right"" and ""wrong"" are manifested by beauty and ugliness.
In Grace Luther’s world, morality is physically enforced. Those who are ""good"" are blessed with beauty, while those who are not suffer horrifying consequences—disfigurement, or even death. When the cleric’s daughter stumbles onto information that proves her world is more complicated than it seems, she finds herself at the center of an epic battle where good and evil are not so easily distinguished. Despite all her efforts to live a normal teenage life, Grace is faced with a series of decisions that will risk the lives of everyone she loves.
With each minute, Sarah Tarkoff masterfully tightens the screws in this electrifying debut novel that plunges us into a nightmarish and all too plausible future. Full of high-drama and pulsating tension, Sinless explores essential questions teenagers wrestle with every day: What is beauty? What is faith? Where does friendship end and love begin? Do we take our world at face value and accept all that we have been taught—or do we question the mores of the society into which we are born?
Chilling and thought-provoking, Sinless is essential listening for fans of The Hunger Games, Divergent, The Maze Runner, The Giver, and Delirium.
