Summary

I've been trying to write poetry for a long time. This book is the first poem I wrote. There are stories of life in poems and there are many fictional worlds. If you like poems, I'll try to write more in the next book. I wrote these poems for everyone, big and small.
In the poem, we find the words of our daily lives. There are many obstacles in our daily life, many problems. In these poems, we find the clue to that lost life.

Macbeth and his wife show how bad the evil that can possess human souls is. But evil is not all powerful. On the one hand, Macbeth is the gloomiest of the great Shakespeare's tragedies; on the other hand, it's more encouraging than Hamlet, Othello or King Lear. In no other tragedy as in Macbeth the evil is confronted by so many people, and nowhere else they are so active.
Shakespeare is the author of the world famous sonnets and plays: Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Macbeth and Othello, as well as comedies Twelfth Night, A Midsummer's Night Dream, Love's Labour's Lost, The Merry Wives of Windsor, The Two Gentlemen of Verona and As You Like It. William Shakespeare is the most performed playwright, the works of the great English poet have been on top of the world theatre stages for some centuries already.

Lunar Honey is a collection of poetry about evolving. The book is divided into 3 sections with thematic waves of love in various forms, culminating in self-empowering truths.
In Lunar Honey, Holly Toomer highlights romance, authenticity, social disparity, resilience, spirituality and purpose. The poems in this book reflect how an infatuated and unhealthy love can almost be trance-like, so much so, that it is easy to understand how a person can lose theirself in another.
This book illustrates how spiritually healing, the rediscovery and search for knowledge of self can be. It also serves as a reminder that after heartbreak, you must remember what matters the most to you and if you can’t immediately find what that is, look inward. What are you made of?

1968. A time of political upheaval the likes of which has not been seen since. Until - perhaps - now.
In a new age of radical leftism and global politics, this new version of David Edgar's 1983 award-winning hit play Maydays has startling parallels to the political revolution of the Millennial Generation.
Maydays tells the story of the idealistic young who came of age in 1968 and were drawn into revolutionary politics; of defection from east to west as well as from left to right. It is told through a number of interlocking stories, across three continents and 25 years of tumultuous history.
Also included in this volume is David Edgar's one-person show, Trying It On, which also relates the events of 1968 to the turmoil of today.
It's 1968. David is 20. It is the height of the worldwide student revolt. The Vietnam war rages. Enoch Powell delivers his 'Rivers of Blood' speech. Martin Luther King is assassinated. These events will define David's politics and give focus to his writing.
It's 50 years on. The 70-year-old is confronted by the 20-year old. Do they share the same beliefs? If not, is it the world that's changed, or him?

Demons, ogres, werewolves – men have all the fun. Not here. Celebrated playwright RM Vaughan's The Monster Trilogy turns the tables and offers up three monstrously evil women in three explosive monologues.

In The Susan Smith Tapes, the infamous young mother who drowned her three sons tries to recapture the public's attention by auditioning for talk shows from her prison cell. In A Visitation by Saint Teresa of Avila upon Constable Margaret Chance, we meet a middle-aged police officer whose world view is warped by her obsession with race, bloodlines and genetic determinism. And Dead Teenagers introduces us to the Reverend, a frustrated cleric unhealthily addicted to the spectacle of large funerals for murdered children.

These monologues – all performed at Rhubarb! festivals and all critically acclaimed – create a vivid triptych that considers the notion of monstrosity from three very distinct perspectives.

'RM Vaughan writes like a sailor with a PhD and a broken heart.' – Daniel MacIvor
