    Slow Looking provides a robust argument for the importance of slow looking in learning environments both general and specialized, formal and informal, and its connection to major concepts in teaching, learning, and knowledge. A museum-originated practice increasingly seen as holding wide educational benefits, slow looking contends that patient, immersive attention to content can produce active cognitive opportunities for meaning-making and critical thinking that may not be possible though high-speed means of information delivery. Addressing the multi-disciplinary applications of this purposeful behavioral practice, this book draws examples from the visual arts, literature, science, and everyday life, using original, real-world scenarios to illustrate the complexities and rewards of slow looking.

    Are You Struggling With How To Win Arguments?
    Arguing is probably one of the more frustrating things to do, especially if you're not arguing with someone who's equally matched. There are some tips and tricks that might help you win an argument, and it is important to remember that the best arguments are always backed up with data.
    This audiobook will discuss how to present your point of view in a way that doesn't get knocked down by opponents and why it's important to have data behind your argument.
    A great way to win arguments is to have something to back up your beliefs…a lot of the time this means that you'll have to jump in a bit deeper and talk about statistics, and why they are a big deal. If the only factual information presented in your argument is the numbers, then why are those numbers so important?
    Another way to present your argument is to just simply back it up with facts and stats. You can do this by highlighting specific numbers and statistics that back up your beliefs, or you can highlight quotes from credible sources that support your point of view. This way, even if the person you're arguing with doesn't agree with you on everything, they'll be able to see that you have already done plenty of research on the subject at hand.
    This book covers:Lay Down The Rules Of LogicIdentify ArgumentsKnow The Right Questions To AskLearn To Recognize FallaciesKnow Your AudienceWays To Handle Different Types Of ArgumentsPractice, Practice And PracticeLearn How To Evaluate And Win DebatesAnd much more…
    If you want a deeper look at how we look into what makes a good argument, then this audiobook is for you! It will take an in-depth look at different arguments and why they are put forth for what they are.So if you are willing to Win Arguments, Click the "BUY NOW" button!

    This is a collection of what I feel are some of the most important social/cognitive psychology experiments, studies, demonstrations, biases, and systematic reviews, presented in an entertaining way while adhering to academic standards.

    I have always been fascinated by how our behaviors, cognition (thoughts), and affect (how we feel) are greatly dependent upon our social environment and our imperfect brains. I find it fascinating--perhaps because I am an American who was raised in the typical American cultural environment where I learned that what we consider "the self" consists of some magic "soul" that defines who we are—our behaviors (including choices and decisions), our cognition (including thoughts and beliefs), and our feelings. This could not be further from the truth. "We" are a result of an often incomprehensible interaction between biology and environment where some traits are more greatly influenced by social factors than others. Who we are is a result of social forces—the influence of other people and the human-created systems in which we operate. We can ignore this fact, maintain an illusion of control, or face reality and learn how to navigate this world and come out on top—personally, professionally, and financially. I choose the latter.

    My name is Bo Bennett, and I hold a PhD in social psychology with a passion for this subject. While this book is not about me, my interpretations and commentary do make up most of the sections of each entry based on the content written by the original authors of the research or other sources—each of which will be cited when used.
    Enjoy this short book!

    An ideal primer for anyone implementing a PIMS based on ISO/IEC 27701
    ISO/IEC 27701:2019 is a privacy extension to the international information security management standard, ISO/IEC 27001. It has been designed to integrate with ISO 27001 to extend an existing ISMS (information security management system) with additional requirements, enabling an organisation to establish, implement, maintain and continually improve its PIMS.
    ISO 27701 provides guidance on the protection of privacy, including how organisations should manage personal information, and helps demonstrate compliance with privacy regulations around the world, such as the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
    ISO/IEC 27701:2019: An introduction to privacy information management offers a concise introduction to the Standard, aiding those organisations looking to improve their privacy information management regime, particularly where ISO/IEC 27701:2019 is involved. It is intended for:

    - Individuals looking for general information about privacy information management; and
    - Organisations implementing, or considering improving, a PIMS, particularly where the use of ISO/IEC 27701:2019 is being considered.
    It will enable you to understand the basics of privacy information management, including:

    - What privacy information management means;
    - How to manage privacy information successfully using a PIMS aligned to ISO/IEC 27701;
    - Key areas of investment for a business-focused PIMS; and
    - How your organisation can demonstrate the degree of assurance it offers with regard to privacy information management.
