Sinopsis

An overly realistic story of the Messiah written by a Marvel fan.
In an age full of signs of the end of the world, two Messiahs have appeared. One is Karl, a mysterious man who descended from the skies of Jerusalem. Another is Tom, a newspaper reporter who is extremely direct in his words and actions. Who is the real Messiah and how will he save mankind? Jesus described in the Bible was closer to an omnipotent God than a human being. If Jesus returns, how will he be tested by Christians? Who will the Vatican recognize as the Messiah?
The author describes the sufferings and adversities of the Messiah in an age of disbelief in a light and witty style. This satirical novel takes you on a roller coaster ride of unending ups and downs that rivets the readers.

"Lady Windermere's Fan" is one of Oscar Wilde's first and radiantly indelible marks on the stage. The first of its kind which would be later known as his "comedy of manners". The story follows a young Lady Windermere who, upon hearing the local gossip and gathering of incomplete evidence, begins to question her husband's fidelity. All of this is brought to a head when he, and he alone invites this strange woman into their house. At her birthday party no less! The scandal is palpable. Indignant, she decides to run away to a man who offered her solace, only for that scandalous woman to come and "trick" her out of it, like a mother consoling a child. But the question still remains, what is this woman's relationship to Lady Windermere's husband? And just who is she to Lady Windermere as well?

Travelling is something most of us do perfectly well. It often involves a stroll in the park or sojourn in the sun.
Dominic Ryan, for reasons unfamiliar with common sense, is more likely to find himself facing down charging hippos on the Zambezi or tracking angry Namibian cheetahs in a vintage aeroplane.
There is little in the way of logic in his backpack as he tumbles into a war zone in Ukraine or tries to save a Malaysian rainforest by chasing bats.
Is The Back of Beyond a memoir, travelogue or cry for help? It’s all of the above and by turns fascinating and funny, thrilling and thoughtful.
As a wise genie probably once said, wandering and wondering are the same worthy pursuit: it’s just one has an ‘ah!’ and the other an ‘oh!’.
If you dare venture to The Back of Beyond, gird your khaki-clad loins for an abundance of both . . . and even the occasional ‘ooh’!

Step right up for the most uproariously irreverent chapter of Gilbert Abbott A’Beckett’s Comic History of England—where crowns are comedy props and history’s biggest egos trip over their own dogma!
Meet James I, the "Wisest Fool in Christendom," who preached divine right while his pet favorite, the Duke of Buckingham, turned the court into a scandalous farce. Then comes Charles I, whose stubbornness cost him his crown (and his head), thanks to a Parliament with a very sharp grievance list—and a little help from the ill-fated Earl of Stafford.
Enter Oliver Cromwell, the Puritan party-pooper who banned Christmas, crushed Ireland, and somehow made republicanism duller than a Sunday sermon. But just when you think the chaos can’t get worse, in stumbles Richard Cromwell, his hapless son, who proved that ruling England was not a hereditary talent. Spoiler: The Republic collapses faster than a house of cards in a hurricane.
Narrated with wicked wit by Charles Featherstone, this uproarious installment skewers the Stuarts like a royal roast—where kings are klutzes, parliaments are punchlines, and the only thing sacred is the absurdity of power.
