Sinopse

Everything about thirty-five-year-old Stone Acres hardware store owner Frank McCord is old-fashioned -- from his bow tie and overalls to the way he happily makes house calls. He dreams of lasting romance, true love, and marriage.
Frank's ancestors have run the store and been mainstays in the small California town for over a century. While genial Frank upholds tradition and earns the respect of friends and neighbors, he fears he's too dull and old to attract a husband. Maybe it's time to break out of his mold.
Then handsome thirty-six-year-old electronic games designer Christopher Darling and his fifteen-year-old son, Henry, come into his life. Christopher has everything Frank could want in a potential partner: charm, kindness, and compatibility. Also, he's a terrific father to Henry.
When their Stone Acres home turns out to be uninhabitable, Frank offers the Darlings temporary lodging in his ancestral farmhouse, where he and his tenant Emil reside. Since Emil thinks Frank is his, sparks fly.
Suddenly, Frank's monotonous life promises to explode with love and change him forever.

After being robbed by a black assailant, white Chicago dentist Mark Cross is hesitant to go out at night, let alone get involved in an interracial relationship, but that's exactly what happens after he meets Darren Nichols, a black high school teacher and basketball coach. When Mark and Darren are introduced at a party, their attraction to each other is immediate and intense, and they soon begin dating.
As their relationship progresses, Mark realizes he loves Darren. But he's hesitant to ask Darren to move in with him because Darren's last relationship ended poorly and Darren is scared to get involved with another man so quickly after that experience. Mark also worries he doesn't live up to Darren's expectations and fears Darren ultimately longs for a man who isn't white. And Mark is still haunted by the man who mugged him and harbors fears about black men in general.
Despite his worries and insecurities, Mark asks Darren to move in with him and Darren agrees. Though they both bring baggage to their bond, Mark and Darren work hard to build a life together. But when Darren invites over some of the guys he plays basketball with, Mark suspects one of the players, Terrance, is the same man who assaulted him. Mark shares his suspicions with Darren, but Darren isn't convinced his friend could do something so terrible.
Mark is determined to uncover the truth, but will he jeopardize his relationship with Darren in the process?

We were supposed to protect the world from monsters, not become them.

All I've ever wanted was to protect the people I love. That's why I joined the military's Elite Specimen Containment Unit. When I learned they were experimenting on sentient monsters, however, everything changed.

Now, I have a new mission: protect a scaly winged monster named Bud and escort him to somewhere he'll be safe from my superiors.

Yet, Bud's so sweet and perfect, I can't help but fall for him, even though I know it's too dangerous for us to be together. It'll be safer for us to go our separate ways, especially when we're being hunted.

But I've only got so much willpower . . .

My name is Lucas Barrett. I was human, once, and lived the normal life of a bartender in New Orleans. Then I met Justin and everything changed.
Now I'm a vampire and I detest humans. Am I jealous of them? Perhaps, but it's more than that. To me they're vermin infesting the world and I intend to do what I can to eliminate them.
Of course I need to be careful. If I'm caught, I'll be declared a rogue and every vampire will have me in their sights. I am careful, or so I thought, until Axel appeared. He's also a vampire, and sexy as hell. It seems he's been watching me when I go out to hunt. Luckily for me, he feels the same about the humans or I'd be dead now. Truly dead.
The attraction is there, and our shared desire to do something about the humans. Can we succeed without being caught and destroyed? Only time will tell.

History of Violence is international bestselling French author Edouard Louis’s autobiographical audiobook about surviving a shocking sexual assault and coping with the post-traumatic stress disorder of its aftermath. On Christmas Eve 2012, in Paris, the novelist Édouard Louis was raped and almost murdered by a man he had just met. This act of violence left Louis shattered; its aftermath made him a stranger to himself and sent him back to the village, the family, and the past he had sworn to leave behind.A bestseller in France—challenged and vindicated in the courts—History of Violence is a short nonfiction account with the victim as its subject. Moving seamlessly and hypnotically between past and present, between Louis’s voice and the voice of an imagined narrator, History of Violence has the exactness of a police report and the searching, unflinching curiosity of memoir at its best. It records not only the casual racism and homophobia of French society but also their subtle effects on lovers, brothers and sisters, husbands and wives. It represents a great step forward for a young writer whose acuity, skill, and depth are unmatched by any novelist of his generation, in French or English.

Surging Reef by Holly Day: One day, Kazimir will live in a lighthouse, but until he can afford one, he'll simply have to satisfy his need by breaking into abandoned ones. Soon, sparks fly between Milo and Jackson, a man whose rejection sent him running from Maine in the first place. That is, until he discovers Jackson was the prime suspect in the death of his previous boyfriend, Jason Reese, who fell from the top of the Rocky Cliff Lighthouse.
