"Let me tell you a story," she begins. "Because tonight, I am hurting, and I need you to listen. Tonight, I need you to see me again."
Losing Time is captivating exploration of love, loss, and healing inspired by autobiographical elements where the echoes of a past love still resonate. Like a modern-day Scheherazade, the woman, cloaked by the foreboding night in the stillness of time, beckons her lost lover to hear her voice once more. In poetic prose and evocative poetry, she weaves their story through the tapestry of pain and emotional turmoil, seeking solace in shared experiences and a path toward closure.
As the narrative moves between Europe, India, and Abu Dhabi, it gathers fragments of the events, revealing the elusive nature of time in moments of anguish. Narrative progression is not the goal of this story, which resembles a Borgesian labyrinth of emotion: the heroine wanders amongst her past, continuously reinterpreting the same events, observing them like snowflakes slowly spinning in a snow globe. The text is dense with symbolism as her memories and feelings converge, blurring the lines between reality and dreams, and eventually solidifying into complex artifacts of emotional experience. It is in this reliving of the past that she finds herself "losing time," yet paradoxically discovering new revelations.
Losing Time touches upon themes of intercultural romance, temptation, loyalty, and the profound significance of rediscovering one's voice. This book is a must-listen for those who crave an atmospheric and ephemeral narrative with a rich emotional undercurrent that seamlessly blends melancholic and meditative poetry with literary fiction.

In the shadowed realm where life and death intertwine, an objective crow perches upon the precipice of existence. Its wings bear the weight of countless souls—both animal and human—whose final breaths echo through the void.
He Watched chronicles the crow’s solemn duty: to witness the unraveling of mortal threads. From the gnarled roots of ancient forests to the blood-soaked cobblestones of forgotten alleys, it observes without judgment. The grotesque and the sublime converge in a macabre ballet, each demise etched into the crow’s unyielding gaze.
But as the seasons turn and the moon waxes, a twist of fate awaits. The crow, once a silent observer, becomes ensnared in a web of treachery. Captured by unseen hands, it faces its own mortality—a revelation that transcends mere poetry. The boundaries blur, and the crow’s wings ache for flight beyond the ink-stained pages.
He Watched is a haunting tapestry woven from verses and prose, where the boundary between life and death dissolves. Prepare to be startled, unsettled, and transformed as you journey alongside the crow—a witness turned protagonist—in this enigmatic tale.
The crow’s secrets lie hidden within these verses. Will you dare to decipher them?

Thank you for purchasing my book, "Kevin Goes to Japan 3: Stories for Japanese Learners, JLPT N5 to N1." Some of them would realize that the range of the level is more comprehensive than before. Because this book is just before the last book, I wanted to focus on telling the story. Therefore, some Japanese sentences would be complicated for early learners. However, reading many books is good practice to understand the language, and you need to have the skill to guess unknown words by seeing the context. The word lists are more than Kevin 2, showing many vocabularies, and I keep writing topics from each chapter.
But 15 JLPT sample questions come with each chapter, a total of 180 questions for N5 to N3. I believe that advanced learners need to read books that understand more natural Japanese. Instead of sample questions, please try to use expressions you can find a list, "Miscellaneous (Idioms, expressions, proverbs, etc.)."
Tomoko teaches Kevin Kanji radical that Japanese language questions include in this book in this story. JLPT wouldn't ask radical, but if you know the basic rules, it helps to give extra knowledge about this language and its origins.
In the story, Kevin wants Yukio to fall in love with Tomoko, and you can see how his love strategy works. However, the day Kevin's working holiday visa expires is coming, and he and Yumiko's relationship will be swirled.
I hope you enjoy this story as a bilingual novel as well.
