He gained notoriety with his alter ego, Slim Shady, expressing anger through transgressive lyrics. Eminem's notable works include The Slim Shady LP, The Marshall Mathers LP, and The Eminem Show. He has received numerous awards, including an Academy Award for "Lose Yourself". In addition to music, he has also been involved in film, television, and business ventures.

  Eminem was a member of several hip-hop groups, including New Jacks, Soul Intent, Outsidaz, and D12, before achieving solo success. He also collaborated with Royce da 5'9" as the duo Bad Meets Evil.
