    Unified Theory of Evolution A...

    Wang Dongyue, Translated by...

"Human nature is the expression of all beings; a human being is the miniature of the universe."
The author devoted more than 20 years to this book, proving a philosophical principle and making several critical comments on different theories regarding social problems we are now facing: what is the natural foundation of human subsistence or human phenomena? Why is the progression of civilization and its social development inevitably moving toward an endangering destination? And why are the mental attributes and knowledge system ultimately proved unhelpful or even appear negative? In sum, it rings the alarm through an insightful mode of ultimate investigation for the self-important humanity, and it also foresees the coming of the cloud for the described bright future.
Compared with Newton's theory of gravity, Einstein's theory of relativity applies to a more extensive range of space; similarly, Dongyue's theory of weakening compensation applies to a more comprehensive range of human cognition compared with Darwin's theory of biological evolution. In other words, Einstein's theory of relativity is a massive expansion of Newton's theory of gravitation, and Dongyue's theory of weakening compensation is also a tremendous expansion of Darwin's theory of biological evolution. This philosophical monograph is in a demonstrative method with a unique style of language that is quite different from other works in this field, which makes the reading a challenge to many.

John Locke: Enlightenment philosopher, father of liberalism, inventor of “natural rights,” and accidental spiritual patron of land developers, libertarians, and your uncle who won’t shut up about property taxes.
In this gloriously sarcastic takedown of one of Western philosophy’s most over-quoted minds, Sophia Blackwell (Kant You Not, No Self, No God, No Clue) guides you through Locke’s greatest hits—including:
The blank slate theory, which basically says you’re born dumb and the world makes you worse
His ideas on identity, which collapse the second you forget your phone password
His version of consent, which mostly consists of “You didn’t leave, so I assume you’re fine with it.”
And of course, property rights—where mixing your labor with the earth somehow makes it yours, and stealing land becomes morally correct as long as you bring a shovel
Locke’s political philosophy inspired democracies, revolutions, and every 400-comment Reddit thread titled “Taxation is theft.”
This is not a respectful biography.
This is a roast. A eulogy. A survival guide for understanding how Locke gave us:
    Liberalism
    Landlords
    Legal headaches
And a political system that thinks fencing off a patch of dirt = moral superiority
    Perfect for:
    Recovering philosophy students
    Political skeptics
    Enlightenment haters
    Property law survivors
And anyone who wants to laugh while questioning whether government is just a giant metaphor for a really passive-aggressive roommate agreement
You don’t need to read Two Treatises of Government.
You just need to know Locke said, “I think I own that,” and people believed him.

    C. G. Jung, (Carl Gustav Jung) was a Swiss psychiatrist and psychotherapist who founded analytical psychology. Jung proposed and developed the concepts of extraversion and introversion archetypes, as well as the collective unconscious. His work has been influential in psychiatry and in the study of religion, philosophy, archeology, anthropology, literature, and related fields. He was a prolific writer, many of whose works were not published until after his death.
The central concept of analytical psychology is individuation—the psychological process of integrating the opposites, including the conscious with the unconscious, while still maintaining their relative autonomy. Jung considered individuation to be the central process of human development.
Jung created some of the best known psychological concepts, including the archetype, the collective unconscious, the complex, and synchronicity. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), a popular psychometric instrument, has been developed from Jung's theory of psychological types.
Though he was a practising clinician and considered himself to be a scientist, much of his life's work was spent exploring tangential areas such as Eastern and Western philosophy, alchemy, astrology, and sociology, as well as literature and the arts. Jung's interest in philosophy and the occult led many to view him as a mystic, although his ambition was to be seen as a man of science. His influence on popular psychology, the psychologization of religion, spirituality, and the New Age movement has been immense.

I had heard tales of women with secret knowledge and powers, but I never imagined that there would be one standing right in front of me.
“You’re a Völva?” the word rolled off my tongue strangely...
I only knew faintly what a Völva was. They were said to be strange women with strange powers. Not only could they protect and ward against ill omens, but they could also travel the realms and reach into places untapped by most humans. As such, they were often spoken of in whispers of both reverence and mystery.
“Yes, I am. And an old one at that,” she said, getting up from her chair.
It seemed so casual as if she was just talking about a mindless chore that she was doing. Like it was nothing special that she had just performed some form of magic right in front of me.
For two years, I learned everything I could on runes, protections, herbs, medicines, and anything else that Dagmar deemed necessary. In the few moments I had that were not dedicated to lessons from Dagmar, I would seek out Ivar for his quiet presence. There was just something about being near him that set my mind at ease.
All that consumed my thoughts was avengement and how close Ulrik was. Soon he would taste the bitter sting of defeat.
In the realms of Norse Mythology, a girl sets out to avenge her village only to meet a powerful teacher on her journey into the abyss of forbidden knowledge.
