Summary

Mala & Chayan, the newly-married couple, had recently shifted to their rented flat at the Laha’s residence. Rumors were rife owing to the very reclusive lifestyle of the Laha’s, yet the affordable budget rental prompted Chayan to move in irrespective. As a loving wife, Mala was trying to settle down at the new place while adjusting to the reality of her husband’s night shifts as a call center executive. Mala had to stay alone at night while her husband was away from home attending to his office. 
The loneliness at night, coupled with the local rumors, started affecting Mala’s mental peace as she remembered an old prophecy of a hermit, who she met as a child many years back. The hermit had then forewarned her about a possible encounter with some evil apparition without telling her about possible countermeasures. Call it coincidence, or otherwise, Mala started sensing something amiss very frequently at night till her discomfort turned into a mortal terror.
