Summary

They, the extraterrestrials, are working on our planet neither to conquer nor to enslave it, but with one single goal in mind: to slow down our rapid fall into the abyss of self-destruction, trying to bring to our Consciousnesses the moral, spiritual, social and scientific values accepted in the civilized Cosmos.

Those few people who are able to perceive their Word of Truth do everything possible, even impossible, to bring it to the half-asleep Consciousnesses of the rest of mankind.

Many "extraterrestrials" from Pleiades, Sirius, Andromeda and other civilizations of the "Light Ring" have been living among us for thousands of years, voluntarily giving up being in the Worlds of higher dimensions, just so that we, people of Earth, did not remain completely cut off from the Source, from Which all of us have come out, and to illuminate with the Knowledge of Truth the Path of spiritual ascent for Consciousnesses who no longer wish to abide in the sleep of illusion and the darkness of ignorance. The Books of Oris are an example of this Service.

Oftentimes the greatest movements of grace follow close on the heels of the greatest movements of evil. Such is the case of 1939 Great Britain—decadent, self-absorbed and wholly unprepared to stand up against the growing threat of Adolf Hitler on the other side of the Channel. A great evil had cast its shadow upon the sleepy British Isles, and now it appeared that the countdown toward their final days had officially begun. 1939 Great Britain is a stunning reminder to all of us, that no matter how dark it gets, God’s grace is sufficient to meet the task and to turn everything around. Something happened inside that decaying, dying nation that is one for the storybooks. And, though it is nearly impossible to believe—that decadent, self-absorbed, unprepared little nation became— seemingly overnight—a nation full of lionhearted men and women ready to sacrifice everything to see Hitler stopped. Out of the ashes of 1939 grows the beauty and profundity of 1940 Great Britain. And what is most thrilling is that God desires to work this very same miracle in each of us.

More than ever, it feels like cultural and political divisions over firearms are tearing the United States apart. Guns are an undeniable and contradictory presence in America, both widely owned and controversial. This book does something remarkable: it promotes insight over animosity in understanding the complex reality of guns in America. It challenges firearms skeptics, entertains enthusiasts, and informs the uncommitted by taking readers on a surprising journey inside gun culture.
A lifelong liberal from the San Francisco Bay Area, David Yamane became a new gun owner as a 42-year-old and embarked on an immersive twelve-year study of American gun culture. Weaving together his personal experiences and sociological observations to explain why guns make sense to those who own them, he illuminates defensive gun ownership, the risk of negative outcomes associated with firearms, and what responsible gun ownership looks like in the twenty-first century. This book lowers the heat on America’s inflamed arguments about firearms and models the civil discussions we desperately need.
