ABOUT THE ORIGINAL BOOK 
"The King of Torts" by John Grisham tells the story of Jarrett Clay Carter the second, a public defender who becomes a very wealthy lawyer through mass tort litigation. The narrative follows Clay's transformation as he is seduced by the allure of money and power after partnering with Patton French.
