Sinopse

After being rescued from a shipwreck, English scientist Edward Prendick meets Montgomery, a man who seems to be hiding something. With nowhere else to go, Prendick follows Montgomery ashore to a strange volcanic island. There, he meets Doctor Moreau – a scientific genius who turns animals into human-like beasts.

Fearing both the beasts and humans on the island, Prendick realises that he must learn how to survive or find a way to escape.
