Sinopse

Armed with his brand-new powered suit, Akira takes his first formal job from the Hunter Office: a patrol around his home city. Working with a team offers safety in numbers—but getting along with his fellow hunters provides a whole new challenge, thanks to competition for kills, conflicts between veterans and rising stars, and Akira’s own universal distrust. To make matters worse, Akira’s barely settled in before a fresh disaster turns his routine job into a nightmare. Something has driven the monsters out of the nearby ruins, and they’re stampeding straight at the city! Answering a distress call, Akira rides off alone—and into a swarm of killer robots like nothing he’s ever fought before. Even with Alpha’s powerful support, what can the young hunter do against enemies so heavily armored that his bullets bounce right off them?

“Je Kidhrey Rab TakRajey” is a powerful Punjabi social novel set in a small village lane, Gabhli Bheehi, portraying the everyday life, relationships, beliefs, and emotional struggles of rural society. Through vividly drawn characters such as Bishni Buddi, Sadhu, Jaikaur, and other villagers, the novel brings the village atmosphere to life with remarkable realism. The author skillfully explores themes of poverty, suffering, women’s hardships, social hypocrisy, and blind faith deeply rooted in village culture. The character of Bishni Buddi stands out as a symbol of pain, anger, resistance, and questioning—so much so that she dares to challenge even God for the injustices she has endured. The novel critically examines the gap between religious rituals and human suffering, compelling readers to reflect on faith, tradition, and moral responsibility. “Je Kidhrey Rab Tak Rajey” is a poignant and honest portrayal of Punjabi rural life and the inner conflicts of the human soul, making it a significant work in Punjabi literature.

As a young girl, Desange Kuenihira was told repeatedly that she was meaningless. An arranged marriage and motherhood before twenty—guaranteeing a life in poverty—were all she was told to expect. But Desange knew she had more inside her, and that education was the key to unlocking her potential.
In Undefeated Woman, Desange Kuenihira takes us on the challenging journey of her childhood. She recalls fleeing with her siblings from the civil war raging in Congo and the daily struggle of life in a refugee camp in Uganda, where she suffered many forms of abuse. She relates her journey to America, the culture clash of living with American foster families, and her quest for her education and the ability to control her own life. Now a college graduate and determined to pay forward the kindness of those that helped her through, Desange has launched the nonprofit UnDEfeated to empower women and girls in Uganda.
Desange’s inspirational story shows us all how we can overcome any odds through education, determined perseverance, and the kindness of caring people.

“Remove My Shadow From My Body” is a psychological and symbolic story that portrays the inner journey of a man seeking liberation from his past, guilt, and the shadow of his identity.
Every person carries a shadow — but the protagonist of this story wants to separate that shadow from himself. Here, the shadow is not just the silhouette formed by light, but a symbol of his inner darkness, past mistakes, and suppressed emotions.
As the story progresses, readers become part of a mental struggle where the lines between reality and imagination begin to blur. The desire to remove the shadow becomes a deeper echo of self-acceptance and liberation.
This is a story about the voices that remain buried inside us — and sometimes scream so loudly that we stop recognizing ourselves.
