Understand How God Banishes Your Sin, So You Can Let It Go Too
Every Christian has experienced days or even seasons of feeling extreme guilt over past or present sins, thinking that God is angry or disgusted with them—sometimes even wondering if they're truly saved. This often happens when believers fixate on their sins while forgetting what Christ has already done on their behalf at the cross. Sam Storms explains it this way: "What consumes us is what we have done by sinning. What ought to consume us is grateful meditation on what God has done with our sinning."
In his latest book, Storms addresses this anxiety over sin by reminding believers of the good news of the gospel. Beginning with an explanation of the glory of penal substitution, he walks through 12 things God did with their sin, including forgiving it, passing over it, and casting it into the depths of the sea. He also explains 3 things God will never do with their sin, such as counting it against them. Walking through the Bible's teaching, Storms helps believers find freedom, joy, and peace in knowing what God has done (and will never do) with their sin through the redemptive sacrifice of Jesus.

    - Encourages Christians in Their Personal Life and Ministry: Helps the average believer who may feel unfit to serve God because of their sin
    - Clarifies Crucial Biblical Topics: Explains the important difference between "eternal union" with God and "experiential communion" with him
    - Written by Sam Storms: Author of more than 30 books, including Tough Topics; Kept for Jesus; and A Sincere and Pure Devotion to Christ

Few things bring more immediate scrutiny and impassioned angst among young adult Christians today than hearing the words “purity culture.” Serious flaws from purity culture deserve to be scrutinized, especially given its lasting negative effects on some raised in the movement. Many Christians today reject the movement—and all that it stood for—wholesale. However, we can’t ignore the clear sexual ethics of the Bible. Pure dives into the big picture of God’s design for men and women regarding sexuality, and seeks to reclaim one of the clearest teaching in the scriptures: the call to sexual purity. While purity culture gets the truth right, the approach and gospel elements it espouses are often wrong. Let’s not throw the baby out with the bath water, but rather celebrate God’s great design for marriage and the loving boundaries he has put in place for our joy, protection, and flourishing.

There is a popular, though false belief today that God has had enough of the Israelites and has abandoned them in favour of the Church. This is commonly referred to as "Replacement Theology". What this means is this. God is saying He no longer wants anything to do with those hard-headed, ungrateful, disobedient, unrepentant, Israelite sinners. He will only deal with the hard-headed, ungrateful, disobedient, unrepentant sinners in the church. If this is the case, I would say God is just swapping one group of sinners for another group of sinners.
One very important thing that we must consider here is this. If God could break the unconditional promises He made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, then He could just as easily do the same thing to an unworthy church. But He will never abandon Israel. God's gifts and calling are irrevocable as we see in.
Rom 11:29 for God's gifts and his call are irrevocable.
Christians have understood the promises God made to Israel were all irrevocable. The land God promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob always has been the promised land, and it is a perpetual promise that cannot be broken. Unfortunately, there are more and more Christian leaders who are no longer supporting Israel and are turning their backs on them. Governments are demanding Israel give up some of their land into what is referred to as a two-state solution. This would be no solution at all, because the enemies of Israel want more than the land of Israel. It is their plan to completely destroy every Jew in the world.
This is a topic that will affect the way we view and understand many important doctrines God has concealed in his bible. This book is an attempt to explain some of the important issues that are at stake and the consequences of believing the lie of "Replacement theology".
