	Phillis Wheatley has always been a difficult figure for people to wrap their minds around, both during her life and centuries after it. Even her name is complicated, with her first name being spelled at times “Phyllis,” and her surname being given without the extra “e” in the final syllable. Like so much of her life, her name was not the one given to her by her parents but instead by the people who first enslaved her. 
	Then there was the matter of her “career,” which has always escaped definition. This is the second of six audiobooks in the series and I do hope you enjoy this second instalment, and it's only $3, all subsequent will remain at that price.
I have worked very hard and meticulously to provide you with an enjoyable experience, the initial opening credit music which does run to approximately 2 minutes sets the scene, so to speak, accordion, fiddle, harmonica and bango in a classical sea shanty jig. The closing music ends the tale on a similar jig and at about 2 minutes with the same musical instruments but more upbeat looking forward to the next episode.
The story itself runs to about 13 minutes is is narrated in my own voice.
