Do you want to make your child fall asleep faster at night?

Do you want your child to learn mindfulness while reading beautiful short stories?

In this book, you will find a collection of stories written to help children enter a place of dreams and eventually drift off to sleep. These stories are intended to stir their imaginations in such a way that the transition from fantasy and adventure into dreamland will be a seamless one. Best of all, your children will be able to get a good night’s sleep and wake up feeling refreshed and happy.

The chapters are designed to take you and your family on an exciting adventure through different situations, laden with imagination and surprises, while also attempting to disseminate valuable lessons about important principles, such as family, home, wrongdoing, and numerous other themes.

While each story is unique, the underlying purpose of each remains the same: to confer on readers some degree of insight into moral behaviour and proper conduct. Through the careful application of allegory, the stories contained herein are intended not only to engage and captivate but also to serve as thought-provoking tools by which your children might avail themselves of one of mankind’s most powerful attributes: thoughtfulness and self-reflection.

In addition, each story uses colourful and imaginative characters, settings, and situations to create an environment that will not only help children become interested in the story itself but also serve as a vehicle to convey a moral lesson.

Plus, the stories in this book seek to create traditions and memories that will create everlasting moments that your children will treasure for the rest of their lives. These are the kind of moments that your children will surely love to share with their children someday, too.

So, let’s jump right on in and take a trip into a magical world from which your children will drift off in their sleep.

And as they went to tell his disciples, Jesus met them, and said, “All hail.”
And they came and held him by the feet, and worshiped him.
Then said Jesus to them, “Be not afraid: go tell my disciples that they should go into Galilee, and there will they see me.”
Now when they were going, some of the guards came into the city, and told the chief priests all the things that were done.
And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave a lot of money to the soldiers, and said, “Say, His disciples came by night, and stole his body away while we slept. And if this news comes to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.”
So they took the money, and did as they were told: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews even today.
Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had told them about.
And when they saw him, they worshiped him: but some doubted.
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in the earth.”
“Go, therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
After he said this, he was taken up into Heaven in a cloud and they saw him no more. The disciples returned to Jerusalem with great joy because the Lord was working with them and confirming the signs and wonders that they did.

A powerful novel by Carnegie Medal–winning author Beverley Naidoo that is in turns heart-wrenching, infuriating, and inspiring—and at its core, a call to readers to make a better world than they have found.
Adam and his sister, Leila, are Nons—second-class citizens, living under the Permitted ruling class. Though their life in the Stone City is filled with family, stories, and music, they must carefully follow the rules, have all paperwork on hand, and never, ever do anything to anger a Permitted. When their father unexpectedly dies, they are even restricted in how they are allowed to grieve.
Soon, Adam and Leila are back to school and practicing music again. But when Adam’s friend Zak plays a bold prank on a group of Permitted boys, and Adam is implicated in Zak’s “crime,” Adam knows their lives will never be the same again.
Not to be missed by any reader who was moved by Veera Hiranandani’s The Night Diary or Alan Gratz’s Refugee.
