Glucose, amino acids, lipids, and vitamins travel through the bloodstream to nourish organs and fuel metabolic processes. Additionally, blood removes waste products such as urea and lactic acid, transporting them to the kidneys and liver for detoxification and elimination. This regulatory role ensures that harmful substances do not accumulate to dangerous levels.
