Sinopse

When four friends vanish without a trace, all that remains is a logbook kept by Mori, a troubled man suspected of their disappearance. His entries reveal a life steeped in regret and self-medication, until a disembodied voice calls out from “across the Cosmic Gulf,” imploring him to help find a missing woman. 
Fearful he’s losing his grip on reality, Mori embarks on an otherworldly investigation through modern Los Angeles, chasing cryptic symbols and bizarre phenomena, with fleeting moments of wry humor that underscore the deeper emotional stakes at play. Drawn into his quest are an enigmatic neighbor—a radiant yet haunted woman—and her eclectic circle of friends. Each has their own reasons for joining Mori’s strange odyssey, yet none are prepared for the dark truths that await them. 
Their search leads to a labyrinthine realm of “high strangeness,” where time acts strangely and a mysterious entity seems to observe their every move. At the center of it all lies a sinister figure known only as The LA Lurker.
