Sinopse

"Once, the Kranzedan wanted to take the underground. There, at the end of the escalator,which took him deep, deep down into the earth, and easily missed between fadedbillboards, was a small iron door. Behind it the Kranzedan heard a tiny voice calling tohim: »Come in, come in, come in …«He opened the door, and squeezed through, and he has not been seen since …"33 bizarre stories in which the author makes his main character disappear again andagain as if by a magic trick, only for him to reappear unexpectedly in the next story. Partlychildishly perfidious, partly unrestrainedly evil, the short stories drag us into thepicturesque madness of the horror paintings created by Michael Hutter.
