Sinopsis

Cursed with love by his step-mother, Culhwch (Pig Boy) is condemned to love and marry Olwen, the daughter of the Hawthorn Giant—pitiless, violent and huge. So begins the quest—first to the court of King Arthur to wins support for the quest.
In this earliest and earthiest of Arthurian tales, we are in the grip of the Otherworld, where landscape, nature and doing what we can to make a better future, no matter how impossible that might seem, are everything.
Making a future despite the odds and despite the terrible and debilitating pain that afflicts Pig Boy as part of his love of Olwen will see him tested him again and again as he faces each task along the quest, the last to hunt the Great Wild Boar and seize the golden comb and scissors from between its ears so that the Hawthorn Giant can have his beard trimmed and hair combed for his daughter's wedding.

'I stayed up far too late reading this, I couldn't put it down . . . I didn't want it to end' - Vogue Williams'I loved The Bridge To Always. Marron has created a vibrant world, peopled with appealing characters caught, as we all are, in the net of their circumstances but struggling to be free. At the book's heart is a love story, but not the one I was expecting; something richer, sweeter and entirely compelling' - Emily Hourican, author of The Glorious Guinness GirlsA story about identity and place, about finding out who you are, who your people are, and what it means to be a family.Maeve Gaffney arrives in a small West Cork town in pursuit of a dream: to be reunited with Tim, the lad she fell for years ago and who, unbeknownst to him, fathered her daughter, Emer. For Tim, now married and a pillar of the community, Emer's existence is a shock - but the chance to rekindle an old flame with her mother is tempting. For Agnes, a lonely landowner, Maeve and Emer's arrival is an opportunity to make money - and maybe new friends. For Malachi, a man of few words but deep emotions, it's . . . complicated. For Emer, it's about growing up and finding her voice. For all five, the arrival of this beautiful, wild mother and her silent, observant daughter sparks a devastating chain of events none of them could have predicted.

Soon, Tomas realizes that being hunted and being the hunter, makes a big difference when it comes to his ability to kill a man. He start to have regrets in joining up the "Agency", the secret organization that is being supported by a rogue "element" of the US government, but doesn't know how to say to them that he wishes to quit. Guilt-ridden and horrified by his own brutal behavior during each mission, whilst unable to admit that he lost his stomach for "it" at the same time, Tomas spirals down mentally.

"I have tried that before! I tried to walk away so many times. I would rather live and let be. But you, or someone else has to always push on me the right way! Threaten me in the right way. Trying to kill me? I can forgive that, you're not the first, nor the last. I kind of got used to it. But you have f*cked up, you tried to kill my friend too. Made me think, what else would you do should you be able to?"

This book is part 3 of 4 series. Fan work dedicated as a tribute to the Linkin Park music band life's work to date, of which the author's inspiration had come from. This book includes references to the songs, that should be played in the background whilst listening for enhanced experience.

Note: This book doesn't contain any of the songs referenced in itself, and its purely optional for the reader to gain access to those songs at his own expense. As use of those songs is experimental, it doesn't guarantee improved experience compared to 'just' listening of this book.
