Sinopsis

The Golden Kingdom is a novelette which will surely touch the heels of the shack book and deliver a different perspective on the creation story which is the Genesis of all creation. This is Micah De'Angelo at his best.
There is a place where darkness cannot penetrate. The Golden Kingdom is a place where people, animals, angels and planets can all co-exist on one accord. This magnificent place is known as The Golden Kingdom Of God. It is a realm within its own dimension for which feeds off the pure unadulterated energy of the Grand Architect (God). For this kingdom is more than just a city on high, The Golden Kingdom is a living breathing organism within itself for which never dies and never grows old. The Golden Kingdom is a place of complete opulence and radiates with the glory that only the Grand Architect knows how to shine.
Nestled between the timeline between the first creation of man and man's big fall. The Golden Kingdom outlines with an assuring tone, the very dept of the Grand Architect and his conversations with Yeshua (Jesus)…
There are miracles from heaven that can only be dreamed of, yet The Golden Kingdom centers around the conversations between the Grand Architect and Yeshua to form an opinion about man that has never been seen before. Heaven is for real and The Golden Kingdom is too. The Grand Architect's desire is for everyone to join him in the Kingdom. Now is the time for you to download this book and take a trip to The Golden Kingdom through the lens of Micah De' Angelo.

*When you set foot in an abandoned village, it can be quite a shock to realize you aren't quite alone...*
Good news! Fun-loving, adventure-finding Steve is going on vacation! Bad news – *it's with the school!*  Not only will Steve have to endure the snore-worthy teachings of Mr. Notch, he also has to contend with Donnie Buggs – *the meanest school bully around*. Steve is heartened when his lady wolf Bob is able to go on vacation with them though – perhaps Buggs will be less likely to be so rotten with a full grown wolf staring him down.
But, suddenly, Bob has gone missing, and it's up to Dork Steve and his loyal friend Alex to hunt her down. As much as he would like to avoid to go, Steve knows that Bob has gone missing in a creepy abandoned village not too far from the camp site. Little do Steve and Alex know that someone – or something – is also in the village... and they have a bone to pick.
Abandoned Village is a page turning adventure that will engage any reader – whether they enjoy reading as a pastime or not. Just in time for the holidays, this book is a great read for children and an excellent way to spend the holiday vacation – on the edge of their seats!

“An entertaining and informative glimpse of Bowie’s public and private life, music and disappearance from this earth.” —Shelf Media Group   David Bowie was a master of artifice and reinvention. In that same spirit, illustrator María Hesse and writer Fran Ruiz have created a vivid retelling of the life of David Robert Jones, from his working-class childhood to glam rock success to superstardom, concluding with the final recording sessions after his cancer diagnosis.   Narrated from the rock star’s point of view, Bowie colorfully renders both the personal and the professional turning points in a life marked by evolution and innovation. We see Bowie facing the sorrow of his brother’s mental illness, kicking a cocaine habit while other musicians succumbed to deadly overdoses, contending with a tumultuous love life, and radiating joy as a father. Along the way, he describes how he shattered the boundaries of song and society with a counterculture cast that included Iggy Pop, Brian Eno, and Freddie Mercury, as well as his own creations, Ziggy Stardust and the Thin White Duke.   Evocatively illustrated from start to finish, Bowie is a stellar tribute to an inimitable star.  “While Bowie portrayed many larger-than-life characters in his music, this book attempts to turn Bowie himself into a similarly superhuman character, adding a few extra dashes of magic, wonder and awe into his already stunning life as an artist.” —Paste  “Beautifully illustrated . . . Not a ‘graphic biography’ but something more imaginative.” —Shepherd Express  “The art reflects a man consumed with himself as an evolving art project, at once self-absorbed and self-sacrificing, cooly aesthetic and curiously, lovably human.” —Publishers Weekly

The Devoted Friend by Oscar Wilde was first published in 1888 in the anthology The Happy Prince and Other Tales.
Hans was a little man who owned a beautiful garden, where he grew flowers of all kinds and colours which were sold in the market to make some money. He enjoyed the company of another man called Hugh, a
miller who used to visit Hans very often during the summer time and with whom he shared thoughts about friendship and loyalty.
However, when winter came, Hans found himself in a very difficult situation, as his flowers wouldn't flourish anymore until the following spring, meaning that he was impoverished, living on a simple diet of a
    few pears or hard nuts.
Meanwhile, the miller lived comfortably in his own house, and avoided visiting his friend or helping him in any way not to make him jealous and spoil, if not break, their friendship.
After winter, when Hans' flowers are blooming, Hugh visits Hans with a basket to get flowers. Upon hearing Hans' story, Hugh promises to give Hans his wheelbarrow, which is falling apart and not even usable. In return for this 'gift,' Hugh guilts Hans into working for him day in and day out, selling his flour, mending his roof, and even going to get the doctor for Hugh's sick son.
On the way back from this last errand, Hans gets lost and dies. Hugh gives himself a prominent place at Hans' funeral, promising never to give anything away again, since the wheelbarrow (which he never gave to Hans) was so much trouble.
