Scientific research indicates that our current concepts about the nature of mind may be utterly inadequate. Dossey, Schlitz and others are conducting research on parapsychology, prayer healing and other phenomena that radically calls into question what may be possible, as well as what may be missing from the mechanistic scientific approach itself.
