Sinopsis

A mission to find a needle in a haystack . . .  
 
 
 
Will's made Ezekiel a promise he intends to keep. Will may have promised to find the woman he loves, but first, he's going to look for Moira, the woman who changed Ezekiel's life. Delivering a letter in an apocalypse? Certainly not the strangest thing Will's decided to do since the ascension began. 
 
 
 
A haunted city . . .  
 
 
 
Finding a single person in Leeds without mobile phones or the internet is bound to be difficult. Doing so with ascension-mutated local fauna, even more so. But when the entire city is haunted by legends far too alive for dead things? Will's up for a challenge as much as the next guy with a baby dragon at his side. 
 
 
 
His own personal haunting is enough without literal ghosts making mince of the populace. Will's as surly as he is stubborn, and even he can't ignore it when rumors of hundreds disappearing into Kirkstall Abbey reach his ears. Especially when he learns that's exactly where the woman he seeks has gone. 
 
 
 
Will thought he'd gotten away from the corruption that caught his uncle and his friend, but the memories of Bamford aren't all that have followed him northward. 
 
 
 
Leeds is about to be something far worse than haunted.
