Sinopsis

A short story about isolation, empire and the shadows that exist when no one is around. 
At first I thought it was a duty, perhaps even an honourable one, but now that I have served for a few months I know the true nature of war. I now know the depths of its cruelty, and the terrible appetites of its designers.
